Twice in their existence have they managed to get a first round bye week, once in the Admirals league in S51 and once in the Dragons league in S52, the latter being the season when they even won the bowl game. Even though some are already calling for the SEA LIONS to advance to the big game in the Sea Devils league, we know that it would be too early. We’re still at least one season away of being competitive with the biggest guns, and it would be a shame to leave this league again after only two seasons. And the opponent today is not to be underestimated, either. The Owls showed great poise against the Packers, and we’re warned to not take them lightly. We are prepared, though, defensively and (for the first time in a long time) offensively. The squad is pumped, the fans are already partying. Hammer Sports Park will be vibrant tonight, despite the cold, and we’re looking forward to a hopefully great game. Of course: Good luck to everyone today  |

I'm celebrating right now. The traditional offseason party with the Weasels is today. This time we're back in Michigan. You can see that the whole town has been preparing for this event for two seasons. Other teams aren't drinking; they're still in full training. Here are the ones who aren't on vacation:

Ahhhh, we continue to go close but our Q4 Curse continues to bite.
So many times we have had the lead (sometimes comfortably so) at the start of the 4th only to lose. It could have gone either way today. It went to The Sea Lions. Well Done and Good luck against the Mystics. The off-season starts here! |
