Im at 78M currently, expected to be just past 50M at the end of the season, so when the next season comes around, should I pay 50M to the media center and just stick with about only 1M and save up, or should I save and wait?

If you tried these awards with the AC you would have to break math.

Good afternoon, and welcome to the Season 63 SDSC Pre-Season Review—coming to you live from the picturesque town of Rožnov pod Radhoštěm, broadcasting inside the legendary Scary Hamster Cage, home of the Terrifying Hamsters.

Source: https://thumbs.dreamstime.com/b/old-town-roznov-pod-radhostem-czech-republic-april-market-square-lin-region-276205661.jpg

Season 63 officially kicked off last night with the inaugural Sea Devils Launch Party, Every team made the trip to celebrate the start of a brand-new campaign. The red carpet was buzzing as fans clamoured to see their favorite Sea Devils stars, coaches, and owners.

At the center of the speculation—as always—was the undisputed king of Sea Devil football: elite owner and Season 61 RZA Champion KMN. True to form, the man of mystery revealed absolutely nothing. Surrounded by heavy security and an aura of myth, he slipped into the venue with only the briefest glimpse for onlookers.

On the opposite end of the spectrum were longtime Sea Devil fan favourites hmpf22 and Stabler, who lit up the entrance with an impromptu dance routine. Rumour has it a few local Czech beers were enjoyed beforehand at the Albert Málek Restaurant—judging by the footwork, that rumour feels pretty safe.

After the festivities last night it was all business this morning as 32 teams drafted their first round picks, setting in motion their Season 63 Journey. A journey that all will hope will lead them to the Sea Devil Trophy...

AC EAST — Season 63 Preview & Predictions

Source: https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiEe-62rplM5b1ZH_Hncl2ABMyCd005L4KsfUJ-WRs5a7Vk-eWDneVw1TLfuxfHBreqaZmFsl22vd2Dor33DdWvOwJLdny69TqhXu2pEI8jn4pYmAkYhO2F6Nv9blRznwY1d1M-t9AFqxeY/s1600/supergrn.jpg

The Scots are back. The AC East has a little bit of everything this season: a fallen giant looking to reclaim Elite status at the first time of asking, a legendary stalwart of Sea Devil Footbal trapped between eras, a cult-favorite contender looking to finally take that next step, and a franchise desperately clinging to relevance. It’s Elite versus history versus fanpower… and the Badalona Cheetahs.

1. Glasgow Tigers – The Heavyweight Returns

SDSC Rating: Outstanding
Schedule Difficulty : 3/5
S62 Record: 5–11 (Elite Relegated)

Make no mistake: Glasgow enters the AC East as the clear bully on the block. Relegated or not, an 87-rated roster with £5.1m in wages is the kind of profile that overwhelms most division opponents on talent alone. So what do the Tigers bring to the East? Quite simply, an Elite Ready Set-up.

Prediction: 1st (15-1)

2. Devon Warriors – The Legacy Trying to Reignite

SDSC Rating: Legend
Schedule Difficulty : 2/5
S62 Record: 9–7 (Wildcard)
Offence: 11th Rush, 12th Pass
Defence: 2nd v Pass, 20th v Run

Devon Warriors are AC East history: 25 Divisional Titles, 2 Conference Titles and 2 Elite Trips. All has been quiet at Fillmore South Stadium for a few seasons. They haven't added to their Division Title haul since Season 58, their longest run without a Divisional Title since Season 34.

But history, nor sentiment wins football games. Last season Devon showed signs of life, holding off The Hamsters for another season, flying in the face of many pundit predictions. Will they deliver a 26th Divisional Title. No. They have a roster that’s good, but not great, particularly when compared to the returning Tigers

Prediction: 2nd (11-5)

3. Terrifying Hamsters – The Wildcard That Slipped Away

SDSC Rating: Very Good
Schedule Difficulty : 4/5
S62 Record: 8–8
Offence: 21st Pass, 11th Run
Defence: 5th v Pass, 15th v Run

The Hamsters are everyone’s guilty pleasure team (taking over from The Manta Rays): Theres a chaotic energy about their team, a fantastic team name, the greatest RZA Team badge in history and a home stadium literally called The Scary Hamster Cage.

Last season they missed the playoffs by inches. The numbers say they’re close but can they reach trheir first ever post season? Their schedule suggests not.

Prediction: 3rd (9–7 fringe Wildcard)

4. Badalona Cheetahs – The Build Continues

SDSC Rating: Building
Schedule Difficulty : 3/5
S62 Record: 0–16
Offence: Ranked 31st for both
Defence: 19th v Run, 32nd v Pass)

The Cheetahs’ S62 season was historically rough: 0-16 with the worst secondary in the business. They were however probably on the field more often than any other defence, The Cheetahs offence couldnt run or pass. A £2m plus wage bill suggests we should be seeing better. Season 62 isnt about winning, its simply about improving.

Prediction: 4th (3-13)

AC NORTH — Season 63 Preview & Predictions

Source: https://baseballdesk.files.wordpress.com/2017/01/pinch.jpg

The Blue Crabs Owner (pictured) has designs on The AC North, but this year is unlikely to be crab shaped or Italian. The North is set to be quite predictable. Constanta are the reigning powerhouse defending its crown and dreaming of another crack at Elite. Rome and Crabs are dreaming of one day challenging Marinul for control of the Division.

1. Constanta Sailors — The Kings Stay Kings (For Now)

SDSC Rating: Sea Devil Royalty
S62 Record: 13–3
Schedule Difficulty :
Offence: 8th Pass | 5th Run
Defence: 5th Pass | 4th Run

The Sailors continue to get it done on probably the lowest wage to win ratio in the whole RZA. Imagine how successful they could be if they spent some cash.

Lets be Clear : The Sailors remain The Norths standard bearer. The Sailors don’t just win — they dominate. A top-8 passing attack, a top-5 running game, and a defence that spent last season smothering the opposition (top-5 in both pass and run defence). This team wins on auto-pilot.

They were one win away from the Bowl last season, only falling to the eventual runners-up Ghost of Bautzen. Marinul remains unmatched in this division.

Prediction: 1st place (13–3 Expect them to go close)

2. Rome Torresina — The Italian threat rising in the North

SDSC Rating: A Spicy Meatball
S62 Record: 9–7 (Wildcard bubble)
Schedule Difficulty : 5/5
Offence: 24th Pass | 13th Run
Defence: 15th Pass | 21st Run

Rome Torresina fans were treated at The San Vito Stadium to a winning season last time out. It was an exciting run that almost saw them sneak into the post season, falling just short. They ran the ball effectively, whilst boasting a middle of the pack defence that will hope to grow in S63. They lack excitement and flair that might take them to the next level but they are currently clearly the second-strongest project in the division.

Prediction: 2nd place (6-10) Schedule is a monster

3. Baltimore Blue Crabs — The Most Dangerous 6–10 Team in Football

SDSC Rating: Throw them back
S62 Record: 6–10
Schedule Difficulty : 3/5
Offence: 6th Pass | 21st Run
Defence: 12th Pass | 27th Run

Baltimore is chaos. Beautiful, unpredictable chaos. How can a team with just a 500k wage bill end up with the 6th highest pass offence in Season 62. It shouldnt make sense, but somehow it does. This is the most dangerous 6-10 team in the league.

Except they probably wont reach those heights this season. Rome have a horrific schedule and The Crabs isnt much better. Yet they have more winnable games, and if that Pass Offence can fire once again they could just sneak into 2nd place. The reality is they haven't spent enough money to build on last season.

Their schedule makes any wildcard dreams wildly unlikely. Prediction... They may one day overtake Terryfying Hamsters as the darling of Sea Devil Football.

Prediction: 3rd place (4-12) Spend some cash!

4. Fuenlabrada Falcons — The Complete Unknown

SDSC Rating: New Franchise
S62 Record: —
Offence/Defence: —

Every division has one: the great unknown.

Brand-new franchises tend to spend their first season learning the league, building staff, and figuring out their identity.

Either that, or logging in for 2 seconds and never returning.

Luckily for use owner vicmafraiger has logged in on more than one occasion. If they are still here in S64 thats a strong start. Maybe they can even steal a win or 2.

Prediction: 4th place (0-16) Build a foundation, gain experience

AC SOUTH — Season 63 Preview & Predictions

Source: https://halloweenallyearround.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/shield.jpg

The Centvrians latest formation has raised eyebrows at RZA Towers. The AC South is a division split in two: one bona fide powerhouse and two building projects trying to find an identity. It’s the Silverbacks’ division — but as last year proved, even giants can bleed.

1. London Silverbacks — The Heavyweight With a potential Achilles Hee

SDSC Rating: That Canadian Team. No not that one, the other one.
S62 Record: 15–1 (Division Champions)
Schedule Difficulty : 4/5
Offence: 9th Pass | 2nd Run
Defence: 1st Pass | 3rd Run

The London Silverbacks were a statistical monster last season. An impressive 15-1 record, driven by a top-10 passing attack, the 2nd-best running game, and — most impressively — the No. 1 pass defence in the entire league.

They looked unstoppable… until they weren’t.

Losing 41–31 to Constanta in a game they were widely expected to win — they crushed the Sailors 56–7 in the regular season — exposed something few realised existed: This ELITE ranked 1 defence seemingly has a weakness, if you know where to look.

Constanta did. Konjarnik High Towers did, too, torching London 41–23 in their only regular-season loss.

The question for Season 63:
Are the Silverbacks a juggernaut… or a juggernaut with a fatal flaw? Are they elite… or just elite until someone punches back? In the AC South, however, they’re still untouchable.

Prediction: 1st place (13-3 - Tough schedule, easy division)

2. Rome Centvrions — The Best of the Rest, But Miles Behind London

SDSC Rating: Slightly less Spicy Meatball
S62 Record: 7–9
Schedule Difficulty : 4/5
Offence: 16th Pass | 18th Run
Defence: 9th Pass | 28th Run

Rome were quietly competent last season. Not spectacular, not awful — just a solid, mid-tier team with plenty to be positive about. A Good Pass Defence (9th in the League) and a decent balance offence ready to build on.

This team can beat anyone below them… but doesn’t have the muscle to challenge the Silverbacks. Their wage bill is tiny, and they lack the explosive offence needed to force the big upsets they require. A tough schedule ensures they likely wont challenge.

Prediction: 2nd place (5-11) - Need to spend some Lira

3. Patagonia Raptors — Year Two of the Build

RZA Rating: Extinct
S62 Record: 3–13
Schedule Difficulty : 5/5
Offence: 19th Pass | 30th Run
Defence: 16th Pass | 24th Run

The Raptors struggled heavily last year, but not without signs of life. The pass defence was mid-table, the passing offence occasionally sparked… but the run game and run defence were among the league’s worst.

This team is still laying foundations but need to spend more money if they want to compete. They aren’t ready to push Rome, but they are trending upward. Expect improvement — but improvement still means a tough season.

Prediction: 3rd place (2-14) Another one with a murderous schedule

4. Colts — Already a Ghost Team

RZA Rating: N/A
2024 Record: —

The Colts will be bot-controlled before the season gets going.

Prediction: 4th place (0–16) Free wins for the division

AC WEST — Season 63 Preview & Predictions

Source: https://th.bing.com/th/id/OIP.f6rMO-fiEp6gH4qaBd1lYQAAAA?w=216&h=180&c=7&r=0&o=7&cb=ucfimg2&dpr=1.5&pid=1.7&rm=3&ucfimg=1

If you want to compete in The AC West you need to be high roller. The Billionaire Owners currently bank rolling these teams will one day feel the pinch, but for now they are trying to buy not only the AC West, but the RZA Title as well. This might be the most volatile division in the Sea Devils

1. Konjarnik High Towers — The Money Machine Rolls On

SDSC Rating: Ready to Rule?
S62 Record: 13–3 (Division Champions)
Schedule Difficulty : 3/5
Offence: 12th Pass | 7th Run
Defence: 20th Pass | 5th Run

The High Towers are a financial superpower — but will S62 see them play like one.

With a staggering £8.5 million wage bill (one of the highest in the entire RZA world), Konjarnik simply outmuscles most opponents. Their offence is top-tier and balanced, and while their pass defence was only 20th last season, the run defence was elite (5th). If Ulero has taken care of business in the secondary, then this investment may just end up with Elite status.

Season 62 saw them post a dominant regular season, winning the division, and only bowing out in the Divisional Round to the eventual finalists Ghost of Bautzen.

They have the money. They have the firepower, Does Ulero have what it takes to utiise it and realise The HighTowers Elite Dream?

In the AC West — they remain the team to beat.

Prediction: 1st place (14-2)

2. Wrexham Exiles — Ryan Reynolds Fantasy

SDSC Rating: Too good to be 2nd
S62 Record: 10–6 (Wildcard)
Schedule Difficulty : 2/5
Offence: 23rd Pass | 3rd Run
Defence: 27th Pass | 14th Run

A 10–6 finish and a Wildcard berth is outstanding for a debut campaign. What makes Wrexham dangerous is their offensive identity: they can run the ball on anyone (3rd in the league), and they’re extremely physical up front. Defensively however their were problems, and a team with Elite ambitions cant rank 27th versus the pass.

The Exiles have a much easier schedule this time round, easy enough that should the Exiles beat The High Towers in their Divisional Games they could steal the West from under their noses.

Prediction: 2nd place (14-2) Wildcard Lock. Division Stealers?

3. Versailles Victors — The Enigma With a £6m Problem

SDSC Rating: The spoiler
S62 Record: 5–11
Schedule Difficulty : 3/5
Offence: 26th Pass | 16th Run
Defence: 24th Pass | 25th Run

Versailles are one of the strangest teams in the league.

A 70-rated roster spending over £6 million a week makes no sense — and the results show it. Last season they struggled across the board: bottom-tier passing game, below-average run defence, and a defence that gave up chunk plays far too easily.

This doesn’t look like a team ready to compete with Konjarnik or Wrexham. In fact, unless they dramatically restructure their wage approach, they could slide further backward.

But they do have talent, they must have. The players are being paid an absolute fortune. Have The Victors built a team in stealth, ready to unleash in Week1. Only time will tell..

Prediction: 3rd place (9-7 - 3 playoff teams from one division?)

4. Black Knights — Forget 1–15, This Team Has Bite

SDSC Rating: Dark Horse
S62 Record: 1–15
Schedule Difficulty : 4/5 - First few games are horrific
Offence: 20th Pass | 23rd Run
Defence: 21st Pass | 23rd Run

If you only look at the record, you’ll think the Black Knights are a pushover.

Don’t make that mistake.

They pushed two of the division’s heavyweights to the edge — losing 27–23 to the Mystics and 23–17 to the Manta Rays — and their games were far more competitive than their 1–15 finish suggests.

This is a team that’s better than its record, and in the AC West, they might turn heads by stealing games people assume they’ll lose.

The problem?
They aren’t strong enough in any one area to mount a true playoff run.
A solid roster, good coaching, but lacking star power and depth.

Still — expect improvement. These were once the top dog in the West.

Prediction: 4th place (3–13 to 5–11)
