As 3rd round pick I got a 19 year original QB prospect with uncapped speed and strength. Unfortune not very bright, so not sure what to do with him. I will look for his caps and then we will see.

Hi all, I hope you don’t mind, when I do again my prediction game.
I also hope that some other members of the monarchs region do content stuff, as it did work out last season so well. Congratulation to that again!

I did put the current schedule into a sheet and predicted all human vs human games.
This here is the results.
The BOT-bashing was clear a win for the humans of course and the BOT-BOT-games got always a home winner. That means, the details on the BOTs might be a bit different, but the rest is all my picks.

AC
The AC has 5 teams playing for the title, with the elite returning Dragons and the Minors being the top contenders. Saints, Cobras and Snappers are the others. Doves do look like they will fall BOT soon, but even if not, the team is crushed by the rollover and whoever will win the AC South will be a wildcard pushover team.

AC East
Black Dragons 16 0
Trnava Saints 12 4
Space Ninjas (BOT) 4 12
Texas Two Step (BOT) 3 13

That became a tough division, which will be decided by the direct dual between the returning Dragons and the Saints. I did not value the Saints as favorite and I did see them also as losing team in additional games with one of the toughest schedules of all contenders.

AC North
Suchdol Minors 16 0
Cottbus Cobras 13 3
Blatná Jaguars 10 6
Taboo Mules (BOT) 3 13

The Minors are also my favorite here to win the conference. Cobras have only a chance, if the can beat them twice, which I don’t see. Jaguars were close to becoming BOT, but the manager came back. Still, the team is weak and does only benefit from a quite weak schedule. But if all comes as I expect (or close to it) they won’t be a playoff team, thanks to the better teams ahead in form of Cobras and Saints.

AC South
Doves 10 6
Birmingham Iron 9 7
Nottingham Hoods (BOT) 3 13
Spencerport Rangers (BOT) 2 14

A disaster is this division. Doves are a few days away from falling BOT and Iron is the team from scratch since a few weeks. If Doves fall BOT, Irons will win the division and will be blown away in the wildcards, or if Doves do come back, it will depend on their effort saving the team, who wins the division and whether they lose big or very big in the wildcards.

AC West
Orono Ancient Snappers 13 3
Crusts 8 8
Elite Barbarians (BOT) 3 13
Příbram Bobcats (BOT) 2 14

The Snappers are close to get to elite. Likely still a step behind the big favorites, but you never know. Crusts came to us via regional change and are quite new. They will have to build the team. Based on the wages already did they invest heavily already in the transfer market. So, surprised are possible.

NC
The NC features 4 contenders, Chaotic Smile, Miners, Black Panthers and the Leopards. With Miners, Black Panthers and Leopards right now being the top contenders. Trnje is still strangely managed and will not get far in the playoffs and the rest is too new to really be a contender. But if the Lions do continue the team to be build in that fast pace, maybe they will be ready at season end and we will see a surprise.

NC East
Trnje 12 4
Los Angeles Chargers 8 8
Crushers (BOT) 4 12
Wiesbaden Bills (BOT) 3 13

This division is not as bad as the AC South, but close. Trnje is still a mystery for me, with an unfinished stadium since 10 seasons, a blown up players wage bill and an expensive coaches wage bill, while having no money for the mediacenter. That smells like bankruptcy in some time, depended on the reserves the team has. They will win the division by lack of competition. Chargers are quite new and building slowly.

NC North
Lutetia Chaotic Smile 13 3
Prague Lions 11 5
LIONS (BOT) 3 13
Rothschild ravagers (BOT) 3 13

Chaotic Smile did rebrand themselves last season and are willing to get the franchise to the next level. They are favored to win the division, but are still a bit away to challenge the established teams. But with a season ahead, things can change. The Lions will likely drift further apart from the division rival, with no mediacenter money at least long-term they will suffer. Because of the lack of other real competitive teams in the conference they will likely make the playoffs.

NC South
Ruhrpott Miners 15 1
Paxtang Black Panthers 14 2
Copenhagen Lions 10 6
Saucon Valley (BOT) 2 14

As every season will the Miners underestimate their strength and yes, this season, we might see the Panthers win the division. I did split the series and by that gave the Miners the division, again, but time will tell. Panthers are good equipped, but it’s hard to tell, whoms retirements did hit whom harder, Miners or the Panthers. Keep an eye on the Lions, they are building the team in great speed and even I doubt they will be contenders this season, they might surprise all of us.

NC West
Leverkusen Leopards 15 1
KAFakofers 10 6
Faule Äpfel (BOT) 3 13
Bishkek Snow Leopards (BOT) 3 13

I got the easier division as returning team from the elite, and my team is favored to win the division. KAFakofers are another one of those strangely managed teams, which seemed to go nowhere over the seasons. I doubt they will get into the playoffs, but it will depend on a handful of games.

My third round pick is an RB/FB with yellow-capped speed but uncapped strength. He's just smart enough to count past ten without needing to take off his shoes, so I'll wait until he hits his max speed before I decide to either put him on the market or just cut him.

What's your approach to RBs/FBs and intelligence? Just curious cuz you mentioned it. I've favored smarter (40+) players for FB, but I honestly even forget why...

I use FB, HB, WR, TE and DL for sub 35 INT.

My first draft pick might stay with the team; his progress in training will tell.

My second draft pick will get some training and then most likely end up on the free agent market.

My third draft pick didn't even spend a full day with the team. He was cut.

I found this season's draft class extremely underwhelming, to put it mildly.

Truth be told, I prefer high intelligence for all my players. How much does it help players besides MLBs, QBs, and OLs? I don't know; I just like having smart players.

Doesn't it have an effect on interceptions? I always have WR/TEs and CB/SFs at 40+

I did pick the Snappers as winner against the Saints, but the Saints did prevail.

The rest of my pick in my sheet were OK, except some BOT-vs-BOT-games.

For gameday 2 I have for important games:

Iron over Chargers (but with 2 new teams, you never know)
Cobras over Jaguars
Lions over Trnje (which gives Lions some credit on the building side)
Smile over KAFakofers
Leopards over Saints (which might be close)
Miners over Crust

I did not count the new team as human team so far, since they did not really work on the licence and so on.

Good luck on the gameday.
