My third round pick is an RB/FB with yellow-capped speed but uncapped strength. He's just smart enough to count past ten without needing to take off his shoes, so I'll wait until he hits his max speed before I decide to either put him on the market or just cut him. What's your approach to RBs/FBs and intelligence? Just curious cuz you mentioned it. I've favored smarter (40+) players for FB, but I honestly even forget why... ![]() Truth be told, I prefer high intelligence for all my players. How much does it help players besides MLBs, QBs, and OLs? I don't know; I just like having smart players. ![]() Doesn't it have an effect on interceptions? I always have WR/TEs and CB/SFs at 40+ Honestly, I don't know. Could be, but hard to judge. Has anyone some data on that? Like a period of time with dumb WR and another with clever one, with quite similar QBs on it? Sure, almost on every stat is the more the better. In the manual under Interceptions: The main skills that influence whether or not an Interception takes place are as follows: QB: VIS, PAS, INT DEF: VIS, POS, INT WR: VIS, POS, INT Other skills such as catching for the defender will also (to a lesser degree) influence whether the Interception occurs. |

Obviously I did give Iron too much credit on their development. To be fair most of my early funds went straight to maxing the stadium so there were probably moves I could have made at the start that I opted not to do in order to get the stadium where I wanted it to be. Which, now that the stadium will soon be maxed, I can probably start looking into ![]() Good call, get your income in order. Now you can start filling in young players with the right physicals/attributes (teamwork/intelligence) and train skills as they play. Takes a few seasons, but you can add cheap vets to speed it up. |

One more thing: I'm glad to see that you're sticking around the game. Yeaaah starting the game around the holidays did me no favors in maintaining good activity but I'm trying to sort of build that muscle memory to login and check things at least |

Which, now that the stadium will soon be maxed, I can probably start looking into ![]() You are not doing anything wrong here. It was just the thinking, that you might already have sorted out the roster a bit, eventually got your settings in order and also got some small progress on the training front, compared to the other team. But maybe I did expect too much, since it is a complete new world for you. Don't worry, with the stadium set up, you can now dive deep into the market. We have 2 new teams, but both seemed to be just in and out teams. And Crust did at least for me surprisingly fall BOT. I don't think they were due on the time period of inactivity, so there has to be something else. Last edited on 2025-12-19 09:17:23 by jack6 |

For the next gameday I have: Smile over Prague Lions Miners over Snappers Leopards over Panthers Minors over Jaguars Saints over KAFakofers Trnje over Chargers Good luck! We had 2 differences this gameday. Lions did beat Smile in a defense battle. And Chargers did beat Trnje, which can only mean, Trnje did not righten their roster setup and gamesettings. For the next gameday we have: Minors over Cobras Dragons over KAFakofers Panthers over Copenhagen Lions Good luck to all! Regarding the new teams River City Delta Devils, no licence, no stadium work, but brand new, so we have to see Birmingham Iron has completed the stadium, so they will stay for a while. Nice. Rocky Mountain Monarchs, no licence, did work on the stadium, but no login since 5 days. Likely has already the 21 days grace period, so still time to make up his/her mind. Los Angeles Chargers has completed the stadium, so they will stay for a while. Nice. Santos Krakens, no licence, no stadium work, since 2 days no activities. Copenhagen Lions, very active on the market, stadium 1/3 completed, seems to stay for a while. Nice. The 242 Lunkas, no licence, no stadium work, since 3 days no activities. As last note: I loved the activity last season, so please, keep it up! |
