Gonna be a Game 
London Silverbacks @ Manta Rays - My SDMOTW pick. not that that is official. Michipicoten Corsairs @ Devon Warriors - Last year was 45:24 Devon Wrexham Exiles @ Bergen Bruisers - 22-16 Supercup win last season for the Exiles. Might be a Game 
Badalona Cheetahs at Minnesota Silver Foxes - Hey serengetibdn! MSF will throw and pass to the outside. Black Knights @ Konjarnik HighTowers -46:27 last season for KHT dERBENT CONVICTS @ Gaylord Zaleaping - The 2-0 CONVICTS are on the loose! Downriver Seals @ Copenhagen Chargers Might be a game but I wouldn't want to watch. Hamburger Wave Lions @ Texas Reapers - Can Bleakardor step up? St. Pauli Packers @ Riga Smokers - 31:21 Pack last year is the only reason this is in the "might "category. The 41:0 from last season is possible as well. Versailes Victors @ Sheffield Wednesday - I'm turning into a Victors fan for some reason. Wednesday should still stomp. Not Gonna be a Game 
Baltimore Blue Crabs @ Constanta Sailors - 59:10 and 48:6 last season for the Sailors. Glasgow Tigers @ Minnesota Minotaurs - First ever matchup will end poorly for Bullmen. Northern Storm @ Granite - This game ought to fix what ails the storm. Patagonia Raptors @ Terrifying Hamsters - Last year 33:14 Hamsters Rome Torresina @ Fundelabra Falcons - Fundelabra is fun to say. Social Distance Runners @ Rome Centvrions - Rome is not ready to run this race. |

Week 3 Review
None of the not going to be a games were. The only Might be a game was The Seals 16:13 win over the Chargers. Both teams 3 of 14 on 3rd down sums it up. The Seals ran an expansive roster with trick plays like throwing to a DL or LB 5 times. The Chargers have only 39 players on their active roster so such frivolity is not allowed. The top players play, but it was not enough. The Gonna Be a Game games were for the most part. Ascending order
London Silverbacks drowned by Manta Rays 42:13. Three first quarter touchdown drive by the Manta Rays were enough to make quick work of the Visitors from West Toronto/East Detroit. 502 yards of offense vs 315 was the difference. Michipicoten Corsairs take down the Devon Warriors 38-29. The Warriors scored first but the missed extra point seemed to set the tone early. The Canadian Pirates stretched it to 24:16 at half and never looked back. Warriors had 516 total yards to 391 but a fumble and an interception made those extra 100+ yard mute. Wrexham Exiles 31:28 over Bergen Bruisers. This was a ball game from beginning to end. Bergen had a 4 point lead at half 14:10 and was able to add another 2 tiddies to get to 28, but not enough. The Exiles final touchdown swapped the lead for the 5th and final time with only 1:01 left on the clock. Patagonia Raptors at Granite - Someone is going to win. Rome Centvrions at Badalona Cheetahs - The Centvrions used to be called Schnorks? Could Be a Game
Konjarnik HighTowers at Versailles Victors - Only in this category due to my Boosterism. Let's go Victors! Minnesota Minotaurs at Gaylord Zaleaping - Minnesota got their first win last season. Rome Torresina at Baltimore Blue Crabs - Rome took 2 of 3 meeting last season. Terrifying Hamsters at London Silverbacks - First meeting here. The Big Monkees should rally from last weeks loss down under. Wrexham Exiles at Black Knights -Exiles 2-0 last season. winning by 17 and 30. Not Going to Be a Game
Bergen Bruisers at Copenhagen Chargers - If the Chargers can't beat the Seals... Constanta Sailors at Fuenlabrada Falcons - Just realized it's not Fundalabra Michipicoten Corsairs at Downriver Seals - Canadiens have a long history of clubbing the Seals. Minnesota Silver Foxes at Glasgow Tigers - Nope, not even close. Riga Smokers at Manta Rays - Rays playing killer ball right now. |
