What does that tanking means when you lose a game? You had a lot of teams selling all players (I did it one season) when relegation was there and played last 5-6 games with reserves just trying to get more money while going down. Is that tanking also? No one get warning about that. Or like playing in one of first divisions. Going like 16-0 or 15-1 in regular season and then losing conference finals on purpose just to stay another season in that league. Getting almost all the money you can get and making space for your team to get one more season with a lot of cash in profit. Switching regions is totally unimportant in this case. |

One team, probably mine, will be relegated with a balanced or winning record. I find really disappointing to see teams tanking that way while others are trying to do their best. |

There's subtle tanking and there's blatant one. I know nothing could be changed during a season, but you could tank a few games before having consequences, so maybe it's reasonable to penalize every tanked game by moving down in a draft order or something like that so at least tanking for the sake of draft becomes useless.
Obviously it's case by case basis because it could be subjective. But sometimes it's just way too obvious. |
