Well those teams are fighting for wildcard spots. I'm more in for a messy division fight with Rome. The all time record between us (dating 2 seasons) between league and supercup is 2-3 (from my perspective) with our next game coming in supercup tomorrow. Last time out towards the end of last season they pulled out a win in a slopfest in Rome.

Through week # 6
Lets take a look!

In for now:
1. Ghosts of Koh Phangan 6-0 251 The top 2 here are ..
2. Glasgow Tigers 6-0 220 ...the class of the AC
3. London Silverbacks 3-2 48 only 1/2 game up on Cinci and Centvrions.
4. Baltimore Blue Crabs 3-3 48 Leads Rome Torresina by 2 pd points. Bye next
5. Wrexham Exiles 4-1 153 Looking to coast to wc spot.
6. Terrifying Hamsters 4-2 51 Three teams only 1 game back. Ballers next,

Just out:
7. Rome Toressina 3-3 46 Foxes up next. Should hold North lead next week.
8. Cincinnati Bungals 3-3 1 Easy win against the Diddys next. Need to pad pd.
9. Rome Centvrions 3-3 -2 Tough game against Exiles next
10. Patagonia Raptors 2-3 46 Need to get wins against division foes. Silverbacks up next
11. Devon Warriors 2-3 40 This is the biggest surprise so far. Tigers next won't help.
12. Maineville Maulers 2-4 -105 Welcome to the Sea Devils. Spartans next. lol

Check for pulse:
Durham Foxes 1-4 -133
Detroit Diddys 1-4 -230
Kacynski Ballers 0-6 -294
godtomsatan 0-6 -297

Races:
AC East: NO Glasgow is too good.
AC North: YES Blue Crabs and Torresina will battle it out.
AC South: Maybe if the Silverbacks stumble
Ac West: NO Wrexham is aiming for the wc spot as Ghosts will take crown.
Wildcard: Heck yes! Top 2 go. Exiles/Hamsters/Bungals and both Roman teams make it a five man race.

I thought Wrexham Exiles would be a lock for a wildcard spot, but after today's loss to the Centvrions, the AC is wide open. Exiles have a very tough remaining schedule having to face the Ghosts (x2), Manta Rays, Silverbacks, and Mystics. And most notably, they will have to travel to Cincinnati to face the Bungals on Tuesday.

Another big game Tuesday is Hamsters vs Blue Crabs. Huge playoff implications for both teams.

There are two juggernauts in this conference who are heavy favorites to win it all, but the rest of the playoff race is highly competitive.

Assuming the Tigers and Ghosts are certainties, I've taken a look at the remaining games for the next 6 teams challenging for the final 4 spots.

Silverbacks - excellent chances. 5-2
3 easy games v <550 elo
2 challenging games v St Pauli Packers & Devon Warriors
4 match-ups v other contenders (Exiles, Bengals, Centvrions x 2)

Hampsters - very good chances. 6-2
2 easy games v <550 elo
2 must wins v Maulers & Silver Foxes - wins here make it 10-6
2 tough games v Spartans & Warriors
2 losses v Tigers
0 match-ups

Exiles - decent chances. 5-2
3 easy games v <550 elo
1 must win v Northern Storm - wins here make it 9-7
1 tough game v Manta Rays
3 losses v Tigers, Ghosts x 2
1 match-up (Silverbacks)

Centvrions - 5-3 with 5 matches v other contenders
2 easy games v <550 elo
1 loss v Sea Lions
5 match-ups (Silverbacks x2, Bengals x2, Torresina)

Torresina - tough schedule. 5-3
2 easy games v <550 elo
1 must win v Blue Crabs - wins here make it 8-8
2 tough games v Conquerors & Warriors
2 losses v Tigers, Ghosts
1 match-up (Centvrions)

Bungals - outsiders even from current 4-4
3 easy games v <550 elo
1 tough game v Sea-Owls
1 loss v Ghosts
3 match-ups (Silverbacks, Centvrions x2)

So, the match-ups will be vital. Also, any win by the Raptors in their 4 games (Silverbacks, Exiles, Centvrions, Bungals) could upset the apple cart.

A narrow win for Devon Warriors against the Centvrions (who were ahead going into q4) could have major implications for the AC playoff race.

Taking another look at the current W-L positions and remaining games of the maybe 8 teams in contention for 4 play-off spots (Tigers and Ghosts certainties), I've projected possible win totals for each team...

Making some broad brush (and undoubtedly incorrect) assumptions:
- I've estimated results for 'matchups' (games v other teams on this list)
- I'm assuming a win for any match against <800 ELO teams not on the list
- And a loss for any match against >800 ELO teams not on the list

6-2
Silverbacks - projected 11-12 wins [if lose 1 game v >800 ELO]
Hampsters - projected 10 wins [if lose all 3 games v >800 ELO]
Exiles - projected 9 wins [if lose all 4 games v >800 ELO]

5-3
Centvrions - projected 9 wins [if lose 1 game v >800 ELO]

5-4
Torresina - projected 8 wins [if lose all 3 games v >800 ELO]

4-4
Warriors - projected 10 wins [if lose 1 games v >800 ELO]
Blue Crabs - projected 8-9 wins [if lose 2 games v >800 ELO]
Bungals - projected 8 wins [if lose 2 games v >800 ELO]

So, in order of projected points, I have:
Silverbacks
Hampsters & Warriors
Centvrions & Exiles
Blue Crabs, Bunglas & Torresina

It's looking really tight!

Next games (Torresina sitting out)...
Bungals v Centvrions (I've assumed 50% chance each)
Warriors v Glasgow Tigers (can Warriors avoid the projected loss?)
Blue Crabs v Sea Owls (likewise the Blue Crabs?)
Maulers v Hampsters (Hampsters can't afford to slip up)
Raptors v Silverbacks (likewise the Silverbacks)
Exiles v Surrey (surely an easy win v new team)

Wow - some great games today!

Centvrions just squeezed past the Bungals (50/50 was about right!)
Warriors put up a fight v the Tigers.
Blue Crabs now in real contention after a great win against the Owls.
Hampsters just got across the line in their must-win.
East wins for Silverbacks and Exiles
