Any clue as to how many game engines the luck of the draw can draw from ?

There is only one game engine.
But that can throw a wild hand of dices sometimes.

1 game engine + the players we choose = endless possibilities. I would think a 4-3-4 on a BOT team isn't remotely close to a managed 4-3-4 because of player quality.

yeah u could do quite a bit of 4-3-4 as long as u mix it up and have good players who perform it effectively and limit the offense...

Here is an example, since we are on the subject.
Now, i did use my back-ups which are far more better than my opponent, but quarter 2 to quarter 4 is a perfect example of wild hand dices.

Oh, sure stuff happens.
One of my must frustrating losses was this one from season 58.
I did play my regular playbook and got suddenly sooooo many turnover.
Shit happens.

Yeap. 8 INTs & 2 fumbles. Shit does happen, but again, never to the TOP teams.
There are other example like games when you punt on every possesion because you can't get a first down for 3 quarters (never seen 4), games when your defense cracks and you receive multiple long TDs even if the defensive playbook is ok (meaning you don't play 5-3-3 or 4-4-3), games like tonight where the opponents offense sucks for 1 quarter and then they shift from 64% overall offense to 100% overall offense for the next 3 quarters.
Oooo, the pure beauty of the game engine

Please don't take this as personal insult, but do write a better one.

Peter had his idea, so many years ago and did create the engine.
I don't believe there is some magic inside it, which protects certain teams.

More those certain teams did recognise stuff me, you and most others don't see.
Hell, even Peters team did suffer a very long time and he still did not win one of the big trophies beside the CoC seasons ago.
If he plays possum on that knowledge, he should get an acadamy award for best actor.

The engine is far from being perfect, but I don't believe it's some sort of cheating tool.

Don't worry i'm not insulted at all and it's not a insult to the Pete's creation or the game engine.
Isn't this the whole point? To have games like this?

Maybe you are right, maybe your not, we will never know unless someone will "speall the bins" as you put it and the truth is somewhere in the middle because nobody ever did.

Wouldn't that be something.
Peter doesn't give a rats ass about winning the big ones, he doesn't bother with nothing.
I honestly don't know why he plays except for having fun because he loves it.
But you can bet that if he wanted, he could crush everyone because he invented it.

He might be able to do that for a very short amount of time until people analyze what he's doing differently and emulate it. Without active use of the transfer market (which Pete doesn't do) and playbook management it would be very difficult to win even with specific game engine knowledge.
