In the game setup screen we have this section:
"How do you want to handle substitutions?" From there, we have the option: "Don't substitute until X quarter starts/all game long" I think it would be of great benefit to all managers if there was also the option: "ALLOW substitutions until X quarter starts" Why? As of now there is no way that I'm aware of to allow subs AND guarantee you starters play late in the game. This would be the most realistic option allowing managers to partially rest their starters for the first 1 to 4 quarters and ensure their starters play with the game on the line. However, it would be overrided if the Garbage time settings are triggered. |
