Week #11 Preview Not Going to Be a Game:
Manta Rays @ Minnesota Silver Foxes +25 I would have put this a category higher but the MSF PC is not great and the Manta Rays are dialed up to 100%. Could be a game the Rays play some youth? Last game: S61 30-20 W at the Manta Rays...with a QB with not even 45 passing. Just to keep that in mind. |

London Silverbacks +3.5 @ St. Pauli Packers The SDMOTW committee is not going to be happy that only one game this week fits the GTBAG category. Both teams need this one. The Pack to keep HSL in reach and the Silverbacks to keep the Centvrions from causing trouble for them in the AC South. The Silverbacks won the last matchup, crushing the Pack 47:10. Of course that was back is S53 so it isn't relevant. Take the team in UPS Brown and give the points. Go Pack! Might Be a Game:
Baltimore Blue Crabs+30 @ Devon Warriors You can't count out the Crabs and Devon has been weak this year. I'm not saying BBC is going to win. Just take the Crabs and the points. Get 'em Snapping!
Kaczynski Ballers +5 @ Downriver Seals Seals with dramatically higher TC and PC. Five points is not going to be enough. Give the 5 and take the Seals to cover. Minnesota Minotaurs+9 @ Krakow Conquerors Krakow on a heater and the Minotaurs are not. Only here because of the relatively close "line". Take Krakow and give the points. Northern Storm+22 @ Wrexham Exiles I was going to put this a category higher until I saw the "line". This is the #2 ranked Storm passing attack vs the #1 rated pass defense of the Exiles. That matchup will determine the outcome. Seattle Sea-Reapers +27 @ mystics Both teams coming off a loss. Both teams 6-3. Both teams in the playoff race. That's the end of the similarities. mystics will rally here and win, maybe not by 27, but they will win. Terrifying Hamsters +18 @ Gaylord Spartans The Hamsters come in with a better record than Gaylord, but how good can you be losing to the Bungals? WARNING: This is the kind of game the Spartans lose and it sends their owner into Butchpt6 levels of depression. Yorkshire Sea-Owls @ dERBENT CONVICTS +20.5 Last week saw the CONVICTS with a convincing win against the Minotaurs and the Sea-Owls losing a close one to the Blue Crabs. Timmy the Greek says Owls are going to win big here UNLESS Butchpt6 comes out with social media to the contrary. Not Going to Be a Game:
Ghosts of Kho Phangan @ Cincinnati Bungals+51 I know I said I would never put the Bungals down here again, but this will be ugly. On the brightside I see the Bungals "winning" with the 51 points. Glasgow Tigers @ Maineville Maulers+55 It pains me to see the two teams I brought into this league suffer like this. Manta Rays @ Minnesota Silver Foxes +25 I would have put this a category higher but the MSF PC is not great and the Manta Rays are dialed up to 100%. Could be a game the Rays play some youth? Canadians @ Copenhagen Chargers +37 Rumors abound of a lack of confidence in "the Canadian Air Force" but I don't believe this for a second. The Corsairs are ranked 29th in rushing and you don't get to RB Ricky Leung until line 52 of the yardage stats. 28th ranked Charger pass defense doesn't stand a chance. PATAGONIA RAPTORS @ dumbest name yet Get your win RAPTORS! Rome Torresina @ wait, I was wrong above. bot @ Rome Centvrions I hate bots Bot @ HAMBURG SEA LIONS JUST WHAT THE SEA LIONS NEED LOL! We lost to Derbent last time out. Timmy needs to check his sources |

Week 11 review
I love that you all disagree with me and are willing to say it. Going To Be a Game: ![]()
London Silverbacks (+3.5) 20 St. Pauli Packers 23 How this was not the SDMOTW, I will never know. SPP got the lead early to go up 21:3 at half and held on from there. The second half sack for safety was their only scoring. Late Silverback touchdown crushes the "take SPP and give the points" crowd. Both teams Might Be a Game: Some OT action!
Baltimore Blue Crabs(+29) 26 Devon Warriors 32 Devon needed a 43 yard fg with 9 seconds left on the clock to send it to OT. I can't say I'm a fan of the BBC foregoing a 52 yard fg for a punt here. Thew Warriors took that punt 80yards down the field for the winning score and pull this one out of the claws of defeat. Both teams Kaczynski Ballers (+5) 6 Downriver Seals 43 As expected Seals Minnesota Minotaurs(+9) 36 Krakow Conquerors 30 Big upset here regardless of the line. Krakow forces OT with a last second 42 yard FG. But a bad interception on the Minotaur 37 (fg range) Give the Bullmen the win. Pretty even in the stats but the 4 Krakow picks stand out. MM Northern Storm(+22) 33 Wrexham Exiles 52 This was a turnover fest with 8 picks thrown today. Closer than it looks as two late Storm picks led to 14 Exile points late in the game. Both teams: Seattle Sea-Reapers (+27) 20 mystics 35 Great job by the Reapers to hold the mystics under 40 points. The 20 points of offense needs to improve. Both teams: Terrifying Hamsters (+18) 17 Gaylord Spartans 26 Spartans only give the Hamsters 14 points via turnovers to hold them off. Bad win by the Spartans but "taking care of business". Hamsters Yorkshire Sea-Owls 24 dERBENT CONVICTS +20.5 34 Big upset. CONVICTS go 0'fer 8 on third down and still win. Owls scored a go ahead TD in Q3 only to have the CONVICTS race right back down the field for their own go-ahead TD. What doomed the Owls here is this chilling prophesy from the preview. "Timmy the Greek says Owls are going to win big here UNLESS Butchpt6 comes out with social media to the contrary." CONVICTS Not Going to Be a Game:
Ghosts of Kho Phangan 44 Cincinnati Bungals(+51) 31 Losing by 11 here is a huge "win" for the Bungals. Ghosts got to 40=win. Both teams Glasgow Tigers 41 Maineville Maulers(+55) 30 Same Story as above. Both teams: Manta Rays 34 Minnesota Silver Foxes (+25) 24 Third time in a row, same story. Both teams: Canadians 23 Copenhagen Chargers (+37) 16 A defensive battle with the Canadiens running the ball a bit. Didn't see that coming. Both teams: PATAGONIA RAPTORS 95 dumbest name yet 10 Rome Torresina 61 Super dumb name 6 Bot 0 Rome Centvrions 116 Bot 0 HAMBURG SEA LIONS 92 |

If i set up 3-3-5 i give up 10-15 yard passes over and over, with teams rocking up 400-600 yards against me. Ive tried other formations. Today i tried pressure with a 5-3-3 against Shotgun 2 - it didnt work. My offence havent been amazing this season but my defence, which has been great up until this season just arent getting it done. As i said when i predicted the Crabs to make a game of it, the signs have been there all season, eventually the bubble burst. Mystics next ![]() |

One thing i think...
So moving on from my 2 x defeats (well deserved also, and i think The Crabs in particular will be challenging for Bowls very soon) ive been playing around with my playbook ALOT!! The reason for this is there are teams that just win, regardless sometimes of team rating etc etc. Look at the KMN Mandolorians. They joined this game around the same time i did. I assume a rebirth, veteren manager - but still. They have dominated a Sea Devils League that isnt exactly short on quality. With Constanta, Mystics, Ghosts, Glasgow, Distance Runners - top managers who know what they are doing - they have won every division they have played since they rejoined the game. Take a look at the stats... They joined in Season 46 - In Division 2 when that was still a thing, They won the Division 2 Bowl in Season 46 They were runners up in the Division 1 bowl immediately after in Season 47, booking their place in The Elite Since Season 48 they have been ever present. 16 SEASONS! out of 18 active. That is CRAZY. During those 16 seasons they have won the division 14 times, bested only twice by The Alpine Ducks. All the amazing managers mentioned above fight over 1 place and struggle to maintain anymore than a couple of seasons in Elite... So i should probably get to the point... KMNs team is worth just £4m in wages, thats less than my team. There are teams in the RZA that have clearly found 'the formula' - an the playbook must be part of that. Space Kraken, San Diego Blitz spring to mind. They know how to win, they know something we dont. Ive been trying to find out what that is... but i just cant figure it out.
Anyway, just a thought. How do we take down the Mandolorians and bring them back to Sea Devil 1? Last edited on 2026-04-11 21:13:34 by butchpt6 |

I haven't played as long as you, but I feel very much in the same boat. It's frustraiting at times, especially when there are no apparent changes or logic to look at and say "Oh, that's why!"

guys, correct me if i'm wrong but Mandos is Holly's second account. He used to be Wilmersdorf Waddenbeiser or something like that correct? Meaning he has won a million championships and been around forever. What he does isn't by accident. he has a formula for everything born from many seasons of trial and error.
