Okay, it's not really a problem, because we can all do math. It's annoying anyway. Much worse games than this have been able to solve this problem, so I don't see why it couldn't be done here.
And by the way, my first thought about this game was that it's probably not intended for players from my country (my time zone), so some new players might be affected in the same way. |

My opinion:
The league matches are on Saturday, and there's a friendly cup match on Wednesday! When everyone has their own time zone with different days of the week, it complicates communication. |

As I understood the problem and what is suggested.
Right now all times for games are based on the universal game clock. That means you see, like game at 15:00 and you might either think 'local time' 15:00 (should happen only once I guess) or 'when the damn is that in my time zone'. Suggestion is, each player can s e l e c t their timezone and the game calculates the difference, like right now Germany +2h to game clock. Then the game shows every times either on both, like 15:00 RZA time ; 17:00 Germany or so, or just the local time. |

yeah gotta be honest the GMT thing is kinda annoying but it helps to have a universal time zone since RZA is a global game essentially...As I understood the problem and what is suggested. I guess I don't quite understand what kind of communication you mean and how it could help me that I see the same time in the game as, for example, an opponent from the USA

The game time is the same for anyone anywhere in the world, if the game is on at 15:00 UTC, then it is 15:00 UTC for everyone.
Amateur radio around the world uses UTC (Coordinated Universal Time or GMT)so that anyone knows that if I say I will be on my radio at 12:00 UTC they can listen for me at 12:00 UTC and if they can hear me they can make contact with me. That way we are not confused by all the different time zones around the world. Did you mean 12:00 US Pacific time or was it the time in Germany or Taiwan or Rio. UTC is a world Standard that is understood and used around the world. Last edited on 2026-04-14 20:16:29 by waky53 |

yeah GMT is sometimes annoying to convert to but you get used to it and it works really well... it is also very useful when it comes to times around the world which is probably why Pete uses it in the first place...The game time is the same for anyone anywhere in the world, if the game is on at 15:00 UTC, then it is 15:00 UTC for everyone.
