I'm not sure I've ever seen a QB in the draft who isn't a crapshoot. You just can't know their physical limits. I almost never take one without 50 Int and 5* talent. Color me fussy. The problem with the draft scouting is, you never know, how the physical skills will work out. It's pure lottery. Taking that guy can mean, you get a monster or a bust or everything between, regarding physicals. Usually it's wise to work with what you know, so draft only players with at least one physical fitting your minimum requirement. The 2nd can then be a gamble turning out right or wrong, if no other candidate was available in your sorting. That's why often managers do BUY drafties with the both physicals fitting (usually LBs) and switch their position to QB. If they are young enough, so 19-20, the end up in the youth acadamy and can get boosted by the youth acadamy points. |
