Well, the Draft is tomorrow, and besides from mocks and rumors and smokescreen stuff the only notable thing that went down in the last few days was the Dexter Lawrence (former NY Giant) trade for the #10 overall pick from the Bengals...
Certainly tomorrow will be a fun day and a lot of reaction will come from Round 1 late in the day and on Friday... |

I'm curious to see who my team drafts with two 1st round picks. I heard the 'experts' say just about every position except QB and K/P, but edge rusher seems to be the favorite prediction for the Chiefs at #9. They also need CB, WR, and maybe OT in my opinion.
It's interesting just to watch the draft in general to see what each team does, and analysis from the media. |

Now the Jets have selected David Bailey, the EDGE from Texas Tech, with the 2nd pick in the draft...

Mostly it went as the mock draft have predicted.
Only a few things seems off to me, 1. We, the Ravens went Guard with Ioane, as expected which is a great W for us, even if Rueben Bain Jr., Malakay Lemon and Kenyon Sadiq were still available at that point. 2. Rams took Ty Simpson at #13 which was shocking and nobody expected that, bdlecause most believe that some teams will trade late in the 1st round to get him (Cardinals in particular) 3. And i didn't understand why Rueben Bain Jr. fell that much, when he was projected mostly as #2 draft pick, prior to the combine and after the combine most analyst put him at least in the TOP 10 picks discussions. When i saw Rueben being there at #14, i really hoped for the Ravens to get him, considering we still need another DE beside Hendrikson, but nope, they went as expected picking Ioane, and Rueben fell in the next pick to the Buccs at #15, followed by Kenyon Sadiq at #16 to the J-ET-S (Jets, Jets, Jets), who had 3 picks in the 1st round. Amazing. |
