As predicted, the final game of the season between the Sea-Reapers visiting the Packers is going to be fireworks. Obviously, still anything can happen between now and then, but I expect that game to be a playoff play-in game.
The Packers and these 1 point games man.. your heart must have caluses by now. lol Both our league and friendly cup game you won by 1 point. Maybe the next game I'll finally get that 1 point edge. lol Either way, win or lose, I'm happy to be in that position... assuming we don't screw it up beforehand.d Great game to both St Pauli and Hamburg. |

A Hard-Fought Battle at the Hammer
What a game yesterday! First of all, a huge thank you to the St. Pauli Packers for an incredible fight. It was every bit as tough as we expected, and coming away with a 1-point victory in the final minute feels like a small miracle against such a clinical opponent. Burt Cantwell’s final push was the stuff of legends. We are surprised to find ourselves back at the top of the NC North for now. We know it’s only the point differential keeping us there, and given the overall strength of the Packers, they remain the heavy favorites to take it all. As of now, though, we enjoy the view from the top. But with Rome coming to town next, there's no time to celebrate. The North is wide open, and with Seattle lurking right behind us, it's going to be a wild ride to the finish line. Good luck to everyone in these final weeks – it's a privilege to be part of such a competitive division! ![]() |

SEA DEVILS MATCH OF THE WEEK 15
At irregular intervals, the most important pirates in the world meet to discuss matters of varying importance in a dark tavern in Tortuga. Often, it’s about the division of hunting waters, or we simply sit together and talk nonsense. At our last meeting, however, we had something serious to discuss: how do we deal with one of our greatest annoyances—the Spartans? We have a plan. My task will be to attack Cincinnati so that the Bungals are busy and unable to help. For this audacity, Stabler will surely launch a retaliatory strike on St. Pauli within three days at the latest—but I’ll deal with that when the time comes. Alongside further diversionary maneuvers by other famous pirates, the Corsairs will have the honor of carrying out the main attack on the Spartans. The Grand Council of Pirates has decided on a frontal assault on Gaylord. All hands to the cannons! The balls will fly mercilessly. Rushing is for landlubbers! However, our spies tell us that the Spartans will be prepared. This game has been hanging over them for a long time, like the sword of Damocles. They know their strengths and how the Corsairs will attack. But will this help? Only one team from the NC West will reach the playoffs, and neither of them is in the cup semifinals. So, this is the last time this duel will take place this season. Let's enjoy this SDMOTW! ![]() Source: https://i.postimg.cc/6p0xVGgW/0E542551-49B7-4905-8D67-69783E9BD681.jpg |
