I don't have time, but it sure would be nice if somebody cared about the NC with this kind of stuff. Lol

Three to play... and nothings decided in the NC
The NC is where the big boys play... That may have been true before but the progression of the AC has been nothing but astounding. With three to play however, there are some familiar faces at the top, but it could all change... 1. Manta Rays 11-2 Our current leaders looked a dead cert for the playoff just a few hours ago. However a trip to Sheffield has opened the door just a crack for The Mystics. Their final 3 is no walk in the park either. The ever unpredictable Derbent Convict and Divisional Rivals Northern Storm could cause the Aussies headaches. Looming ominously large in the distance on the final day are The Mystics. Manta currently had a 2 game lead - would love to get the job done before Johnnyace comes to town. 2. Hamburg Sealions 10-3 The Seattle Sea-Reapers have rocked Chrills Sealions for 90 combined points this season, but the Hamburg outfit still top the NC North. An absolute barnstormer at Hammer Sports Park needed a last minute touchdown to put them top of the NC North, at the expense of St Pauli. Its no easy ride to the post season, with playoff hopefuls Rome Centvrians and the Derbent Convicts to negotiate yet. The lead St Pauli by 61 points - so 3 wins should probably deliver another NC North title to Hamburg. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ------ 3. Gaylord Spartans 10-3 It seems The Weasel Traders have been silently building. A powerhouse of Sea Devil football has had a few quiet seasons but 64 is possibly the number that sees Stabler-Ball return to The Elite. The Spartans have a tricky finish to the season, with games against rivals Corsairs, St Pauli, and The Minotaurs. With the Corsairs 3 games adrift but with a much easier run in, this Saturdays game could be very important 4. Yorkshire Sea Owls 9-4 This team seems to do well against the bigger hitters and capitulate against lower ranked teams. An unexpected victory against The Ranked 1 Manta Rays this afternoon means 2 wins and they are probably in. Three divisional games are ahead of them, and The Downriver Seals have caused issues before. Krakow are just 1 game behind. No slip ups allowed! ----------------------------------------------- 5. St Pauli Packers 10-3 The fight for the throne continues between St Pauli and Hamburg Sealions. Its been two looong seasons without silverware for the Pack, and a last second touchdown this afternoon means it could become 3. St Pauli finish with a potential banana skin trip to Cinncinati, before finishing with 2 extremely tough home games - as Playoff chasing Spartans and Reapers come to town. Its gonna be tough and The Packers could finish outside the top 6. 6. Mystics 9-4 The Mystics are on the brink... the unthinkable could happen. They could finish outside the playoff places. A stack of teams are starting to circle behind them, 1 small slip up and it could be curtains. The Chargers visit next week, which will allow Johnny to progress to 10-4, but the job isnt done, with a visit from Wrexham, before a showdown in Australia. The smart money is on The Mystics making it, and nobody wants to get them in The Wildcard Round. -------------------------------------- 7. Seattle Sea-Reapers 9-4 Just 4 defeats all season, but The Reapers sit 3rd in their division, and 7th in The conference, such is the harshness of life in The NC North. The Reapers have taken the Soul of Chrill hostage in Season 64, and have dished out some delicious beat downs to others. The finish looks to be one of the easiest of all the top 7 teams. Newbie Jesters visits Seattle on Saturday, before The Minotaurs make the trip next Tuesday. The Reapers i suspect will expect to deliver 2 wins leading into what could be a MASSIVE playoff decider in St Pauli to finish. Chances are high for The Reapers. 8. Krakow Conquerors 8-5 This morning you'd have been forgiven for suggesting that Krakow were the favorites to defend their NC East crown. This evening the waters are markedly murkier. The still stand a great chance, but must win all 3 games and overturn a 104 point deficit to knock the Owls from their perch. Torresina come first - no walk over by any stretch of the imagination. There 35-13 victory over the impressive Blue Crabs looked like a statement of intent - Krakow will need to be at their best. Then comes the big one, the visit of Yorkshire - win that to level the record gives them optimal chance to run up the score against Downriver and pip the owls to the post. 9. Michipicoten Corsairs 7-6 The Canadian Air Force are still in it, but only just. They are at great risk of missing the playoffs for the first time since Season 55. Spartans, Jesters and Silver Foxes to come, they must win all 3 and hope other results go their way. A long shot! The Maths aint mathing 10. Northern Storm The Storm can still make it to the big dance, but the reality is they wont. A great team in a tough division. Capable of more, and maybe need a move. Downing the Mytics last week is a massive highlight Better luck next season 11. Derbent Convicts 5-8 Horrible start to the season, never written off, until they were finally by Timmy. Theyve actually been much better since, winning 4 of their last 5. 12. Downriver Seals 4-9 They keep getting better... Beating the Derbent Convicts will have been a highlight. For this season however it ove. 13. Minnesota Minotaurs 3-10 I for one am disappointed with The Minotaurs. They had threatened big things, but instead let Stabler take the lead. 14. Copenhagen Chargers 3-10 Showing signs of life, trust me. 15. Minnesota Silver Foxes 2-11 Another tough season for The Foxes... 41-17 victory in St Pauli shows what they can do. 16. Jesters 0-13 Theyve had many names. |

State of the Sea...
Stormy weather has been forecast over the coming few days as The Sea Devils League heads towards Post Season. We have more teams still 'in with a chance' than ever before. So with two to play do we have the perfect storm brewing or will it be more of a 'storm in a teacup'... TWO TO GO... THE ELITE Four teams fight it out for the honour of relegation, back to the superior Sea Devil League. The pitfalls of success - in reaching and winning a Sea Devil Bowl, is you have to leave the warm loving embrace of the Sea Devil community. Currently Constanta Ravens and Konjarnik High Towers are winning the race to come back... KMN Mandolorians 10-4 The closest this team have come for ... many seasons (i could go look but im being lazy) to not winning The Sea Devil Elite Division. The Social Distance Runners are 1 game behind. Coming up Comanches (Never beaten KMN) and Constanta Ravens (Ravens last win in S60, are 1-9 in last 10). Social Distance Runners 9-5 Almost certain now to be Elite for at least 1 more season. Two game lead on Ravens with 2 to play and Ravens 90 points back. Coming up are The Blitz (Last SDR win was S56, they are 1-7 v Blitz) and Konjarnik Hightowers (6-4 v KHT in last 10, including victory in last seasons Sea Bowl). Constanta Ravens 7-7 Radu looks set to return to Sea Devil Football after surviving 3 straight Elite Seasons. (I believe thats the longest stint anyone other than KMN have had in a long time). Im sure Radu hasnt yet given up hope. They face Cirencester in a first ever meeting and KMN Madolorians - a team they have only beaten once in 10 attempts. They need 2 wins, and to overturn a 90 PD deficit. See you next season Radu. Knjarnik High-Towers 4-10 A first season in the top division has been tough on KHT - They will drop back into Sea Devil Football next season. THE AC 1. Ghosts of Koh Phangan 14-0 Shoot out with The Tigers for the number 1 seed. Both Dominant, both likely to make the Conference Championship. Guaranteed to be Numbner 1 or 2 Seed. 2. Glasgow Tigers 14-0 Both relegated teams are both 14-0. Thats not a good sogn for the rest of us. If they better GOKPs results by 26 points they will take the Number 1 seed, however they are guaranteed at least Number 2. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -- 3. London Silverbacks 10-4 The Silverbacks were hammered by Wrexham last week but their main rival Rome Centvrians also took a beating. Rome are 1 game behind with a massive deficit in points difference. Silvberbacks would need to lose both, whilst Rome won both. NEXT : Devons Warriors (Record 2-2) FINAL : Rome Centvrians (Record 6-0) Defeat against Devon could set up a mega tie in Rome. 4. Baltimore Blue Crabs 8-6 The Crabs shook off a disappointing rival defeat last time out with a BOT Stomp to reclaim their playoff berth. Rome Torresinas hammering in Krakow was unexpected and leaves The Crabs in the driving seat. NEXT : Downriver Seals (Never met) LAST : PNW Lions (Never met) The Seals could pose a tricky test, but likely The Crabs secure the 4th placed playoff berth with a 10-6 record. -------------------------------------------------- 5. Wrexham Exiles 10-4 Looked good in dismantling London Silverbacks on Tuesday, maintaining a 1 win lead over 7th and now a 2 game lead over 8th. NEXT : Mystics (Record 0-3) LAST : Ghosts of Koh Phangan (Record 0-2) What you dont want however is arguably 2 of the top 6 teams in Sea Devil Football. No wins in 5 against these two heavyweights, however if youre ever gonna beat The Mystics, now is the time. Ghosts may rest players also, so all hope is not lost. 6. Terrifying Hamsters 10-4 Yes! The Hamsters are threatening a Playoff push, and anything could happen from there. They have threatened for so long, always just missing out - generally to Devons Warriors. So there 54-10 demolition of their biggest rivals on Tuesday might just be a statement, Hamster Football is about to take over. NEXT : Minnesota Silver Foxes (1-1) LAST : Glasgow Tigers (0-3) A word of caution however, The Foxes did untold damage to The Hamsters playoff hopes last season - could history repeat itself here. Then they finish with the Scots - for which they will be praying they rest their stars. ------------------------------------------- 7. Rome Centvrians 9-5 Rome still have hope, despite a footballing lesson from Chrill on Tuesday evening. There is hope... The Exiles have a nightmare run in, whilst although not as terrifying, The Hamsters have work to do. The issue is the Points Difference, Rome are 100+ behind... so the only way they can grab a wildcard is with 2 wins, whilst one of Hamsters or Exiles loses both. But that isnt the only route. A defeat for Silverbacks in their next game sets up a final game shootout for the Division Title. Its an interesting time to be a Centvrian, but either way they are relying on the results of others, and those results need to be 2 defeats for either The Exiles, Hamsters or Silverbacks. NEXT : Cincinnati Bungals (2-1) - Simply must win to stay alive LAST : London Silverbacks (0-6) 8. Devon Warriors 8-6 Two games behind with two games to play is never an ideal position to be in, but as we have mentioned all the teams above have difficult and/or tricky season finishes. NEXT - London Silverbacks (2-2) LAST - Maineville Maulers (1-0) Win both - hope for the best. 9. Rome Torresina 7-7 The Torresina cant make the Wildcard, but can win a division and claim a top 4 place. Unfortunately they need The Seals to do them a favour whilst beating The Glasgow Tigers in one of their two games. Aint gonna happen. NEXT : Glasgow Tigers (Never met) LAST : Kaczynski Ballers (1-0) ----------------------------------------------- CANT MAKE IT THIS SEASON BUNGALS - Have had a great season - Defo ones to watch MAULERS - Under the stewardship of Stabler, they have had some fantastic wins this season. Watch out! RAPTORS - Nothing brewing yet, but sticking around. Hopefully will challenge soon LIONS - 3 Days no log in is worrying BALLERS - Sticking around, hopefully ready to build DOGS - BOT HUZZ - BOT |

Well written, you have a great summary of the current league standings.
Unfortunately, in the end, it won't be enough for both of us to get promoted. One of us stays and one of us gets promoted. Or maybe neither of us makes it. But that's just how it is. I'll give my best in every game and see if it's enough to get promoted again. I won't be resting any player in any game. Why would I? Sometimes I wish we had more managers so we could get relegated. I'd love to be back in Division 3 or 2. |

It lacks the urgency, which can result in good writing, but it provides great safety, too. I am, however, looking forward very much to read your thoughts about the NC ![]() |
