so lucky I made supercup playoffs, a few teams in my group were very close, downriver seals and lutetia chaotic Smile (somehow lost that last one to the wizards, who made it at 9-6 as well...) I finished at 9-6, #115 in the standings, will probably be loss in first round, but some extra income and a great showing in the SuperCup in the 1st year of management...

The maybes did finish 8-7 and that was just not enough to get into the playoffs, which needed 9-7 and 231+ points in PD. That means, we have 11 teams from Monarchs region, including 4 Elite teams. Of what I see for the league playoffs, beside the actual spots, most teams are set.
One quite open thing is the NC East and the division crown. MTB Beavers are right now leading at 7-7 with 34 points in PD, thanks to the great victory of Trnje against the Beavers last gameday. If that game would have gone to the Beavers, this discussion would be over. But Trnje is now 7-7 also, because of that win. Now the tricky situation: The Beavers are playing 2 BOTs, so likely pumping up the PD with eventually 2 +60 wins to 9-7 and a juice PD. In theory, Trnje can only overcome that by also winning 2 games with 60+ and the hope that the Beavers do not win 60+. That is not given, they play Iron and a BOT and they might lose against Iron, thanks to moral and the roster changes to their financial situation. OR .... The Beavers are not active since 11th, means they might fall BOT on 2nd of May, I think. IF it's 2nd of May, the Beavers would play BOT vs BOT and a 50% chance would be there for a loss or if they win, it would be a small win. If they fall BOT later, it would be too late for that scenario. My gut feeling is, they would be decared BOT on 3rd of May, but I never understood when the hammer hits in reality. |
