Knowing the mental state of a franchise facing an undefeated season, we fully anticipated some psychological warfare. Every SEA LION concerned about getting their proper rest was equipped with high-grade earplugs and melatonin drops before checking in. Our boys slept like babies, perfectly insulated from the noise outside. As for the commotion itself—Hamburg’s fan culture doesn’t look away when its team is targeted. A massive contingent of SEA LIONS faithful mobilized in record time to restore order and protect our players' peace. Local police had to intervene shortly thereafter to clear the area, and word is that a good number of fans from both camps might now be forced to watch tonight's Bowl game from a local precinct rather than the stadium bleachers ![]() |

The Ghosts of Koh Phangan would like to officially deny any involvement in last night’s “hotel incident.”
First of all — our organization has far too much respect for the Sea Devil Bowl to engage in cheap psychological tricks before the biggest game of the season. We would never stand outside a hotel screaming all night like maniacs. Now… A mysterious fire alarm at 3AM? Strange shadows wandering hallways during the ghost hour? Unexplained whispers coming from empty elevators? Players suddenly feeling an unnatural cold breeze while trying to sleep? That sounds much more believable. But loud chanting outside a hotel? No. Far too unprofessional for us. Besides, if SEA LIONS players truly slept “like babies,” then we are very happy for them. Because tonight they certainly won’t. See you under the lights. |

That wish didn’t come true. Today, I’m chairman of the RZA regional association of Hamburg, and I want all teams from this city to achieve the greatest possible success. Since the Barmbeck Cutbacks, this city has waited a very long time for a representative in the Elite NC East. Today, we are all Hamburgers! 🍔 |

If it wasn’t St. Pauli or Ghosts fans, then the question remains: who was it last night? Pictures circulating on social media this morning suggest that it may have been a false flag operation. So far, these two “fans” have not yet been identified. If anyone has any idea who they might be, feel free to share tips or information here.

Sea Bowl Unity has won through...
The pre-match party is thumping here - With SeaLions and Ghost fans partying together in what has been a fantastic atmosphere thus far. There are even fans wearing St Pauli Packer owner masks in jest after the false fan commotion yesterday evening. As the team coaches pulled up to the stadium early both fans cheered both sets of players off their coaches. These players must be pumped as 144000 fans lined the streets. With 3 hours to go will these fans have any energy left by kick off... I wager they will. Hope they have tommorow off work. |

This is what the Sea Devil Bowl is supposed to look like.
144,000 people in the streets. SEA LIONS fans. Ghosts fans. Football fans. Beer flying through the air before noon. St. Pauli Packer owner masks somehow becoming black market collectibles overnight. Absolute football madness. And honestly? That’s bigger than rivalry. For one night, the entire league feels alive. Both fanbases cheering the arriving team buses tells you everything you need to know about this moment. The talking is almost over now. The fake conspiracies, the ghost stories, the “bulldozer” speeches, the hotel drama — all of it fades once the stadium lights come on. Now it becomes real. Somewhere inside those buses are players pretending to stay calm while 144,000 screaming people shake the streets around them. That pressure changes people. Some rise into legends. Some disappear under the weight of the moment. But regardless of who lifts the trophy tonight, this atmosphere already feels historic. And yes… there is absolutely zero chance these people are going to work tomorrow. |
