Once again, wow the chiefs are bad this year and hey Cam Newton, I guess it wasn´t a fluke last week. Ok he threw 3 Ints but 432 yards against the Packers. I think he surprised everyone.

And yeah the Colts are pretty much done after loosing against the browns.

colts 0-16, pick up Luck in the draft and sit him behind Manning learning for 2-3 years before Manning retires and they have the perfect replacement there already... thats a scary thought IMO

I don't think the colt will go 0-16.
It seems the will not have a positive record, but there are some teams worse the colts.

We will see, who will be the "lucky" one.

But ... Luck can also stay another year in college.

And given Manning's status and injury history (consecutive surgery because of neck injuries), who says that he will play another 2-3 years?

Well ... who knows. I doubt, that he will play this year, but one year rehabilitation can do wonders, especially if you have millions of dollars.

Sure, but playing and risking another and maybe more severe neck injury...well, there's only so much that money can buy...

Steve Young (you know, the 49ers QB after Montana) had "only" some concussions and quit playing football for his health's sake.

I don't want to compare concussions with neck injuries.
There are severe ones for both type of injuries.

Steve Young made a good choice retiring.

If Payton Manning will do this, I don't know.
He just signed a new 1 gazillion dollar contract, and I know he likes the game, so I think if he can play, he will.

If I would be in his shoes, I would resign now, because no money in the world is worth an possible injury which might disable you for live.

But Payton might see it different.
