Ok, I'm very frustrated! Completing passes takes a lot more pieces to come together to be successful. It seems that way as I have trouble completing passes. If I set my team to always run the AI figures it out and stuffs the run. So the one thing my team does well will get stopped in the game if I keep doing it.
So...my question is, without giving away your dark deep secrets  , what do you guys do to get the passing game working? Are you also having trouble with passing the ball?  How much does the AI actually adjust? Do you use a playbook or are you keeping to the general match settings?
What is difficult is when you make a setting for say 2nd and short, you can only run or only pass in the playbook. Would it be possible to have the option like in the general match settings that you would mainly pass, prefer pass, pass and run, prefer run, mainly run? Those would be more ideal for creating a playbook. It could be those and the option to only run or only pass. Maybe this belongs in the suggestion forum? |

Involved are always the QB and his skills needed for passing, the receiver and his skills needed for catching, carrying and acting vs th e defender, and of course the defender is involved with his interception and tackle skills. Dont forget, not only physicals and the play skills are involved here, the tactical aspect is important too. There are some "minor" important things like the blocking abilities of the OL/FB to defend the Qb from getting sacked. sfniner08 wrote:
