why not make a blind bidding for a couple days.

Playing a Cycling Online Manager, you have a transfer List like here, and there is a minimum bid for each player, but you only have 1 bid and you can't see what others bid, in the end, at the time of the deadline, the highest bidder gets the player.

As said somewhere else...

We would miss the bid wars if we add blind bids. This does not mean I am against it, but when you vote pls keep this in mind.

Maybe make a differantiation and i think it is needed

a) Blind Bid only

When i understand correctly some of the Draft Players from bot Teams will go to the transfer market

For this players especiaylly i would favorize blind bidding so all managers irrelevant from time zone have the chance to bid

b) Possible to choice

When manager puts player for sale he can decide if auction or blind bidding

c) Auction only

all other come to market as free agent (not from draft boards) put as auction

There are some disadvantages for a blind bidding system:

If you sell a very good player you would most time not get so high prizes like in a bidding war. Would be a disadvantage for new manager who need money and sell one of their good players.

Later new managers have nearly no chance to bid on good players, because every rich manager has the chance to bid millions of dollars on the player. With the actuall system there is a small chance that you can get a good player very cheep, because the bidding end during the night in most countries.

I don't see any reason why a change needs to be made. There needs to be a convincing reason to make a change, in my mind anyway. I just don't see it. If anything there are more reasons against it than for it to me.
