and 11 to go on opp 33, Jay Marquis (OC) snaps the ball to Carson Ashcraft (QB), Carson Ashcraft (QB) selected Jules Hemphill (TE/R) as target, Emmitt Riddick (FB/R) blocks, this medium inner right pass goes to the receiver, who catches the ball, the tackle was missed by Heinz Meyer (CB/L), this was a 33 yards pass, touchdown

Does that mean there are more than 3 sections across the field? Seems like from the diagram on the game stats page, there are 3 width and 4 deep. But "inner right" suggests that there must be an outer right and inner and outer left. I guess there could be a middle too...

Might I suggest you rename the sectors (at least for the game description) to: left sideline, left, (over the) middle, right, right sideline.

I've never heard an announcer say the pass was to the inner right...but they use "over the middle" and "down the sideline" all the time.

I have taken this from the stats software I am using in real life...

However, I am open for that. Please go in suggestions for it, we will see how many managers vote for/against it

I don't think there really is a set verbage as this is for a simulation game whereas in real life football they don't call games using set vectors, width wise anyway. So the verbage is really just unique to the simulation game.

However, it might be nice to define it as left of tackle, left of guard, center, right of guard, and right of tackle. If I understand correctly, that seems to be how it is defined here. If not, then is it defined by dividing the field into 5 equal parts? I can't imagine it is, but you never know.....

On rush: over the XXXX

XXXX can be Center, Guard, Tackle, End... (left / right each except the center)

On Pass: outer left CB, inner left OLB, middle MLB, inner right OLB, outer right CB (roughly)

ok, so I don't think there needs to be a change, but like you said he can put it in the suggestion forum.

So in the passing graph in the game summary, are inner right, middle and inner left all in the center sector (there are only 3 wide)? Or is only middle included in the center sector?

Thanks,

Steve
