I do wonder! Never think about that somebody programms a game with so much bit knowledge of American Football

But good you are listening even if wording of things in your "programm understanding" are others than "ours fanatic football fans"

Blitzing, as it is now, is lowering the sacks numbers.

Before: the DEs go to the QB EVERY snap.

Now: the DEs don't go for the QB; only (maximun) 15% of the snaps we have a blitz from a LB or a SF (at the price of a weakening of the defense).

Result: at this price, blitzes are not convenient.

My opinion: the DEs must go EVERY snap for the QB (this is NOT a blitz, it's only their job!) and LBs, SFs and CBs can blitz at various percentage.

EDIT
Look at today's friendlies: ZERO sacks!

I am working on that issue. There will be a new version of blitzing soon, where the DEs are going for the QB "all the time", while SF/LB are blitzing based on the playbook settings...Patience pls

I know the discussion may be over here, but I was wondering tonight:

wouldn't it make more sense for DE to rush the passer on plays where the defense is set to "Expect pass" and for DEs to play the run when the defense is set to "Expect run"?

@Admin: Please ignore this post if this makes your life even more complicated than this whole blitz thing has already made it.

Thanks for putting so much work into this game. It's an enormous improvement over -TOG- and you should be proud of it!! Awesome job!

That makes sense, absolutely. But I have to delay this for the next big u p d a t e after season 2, I am afraid. The time to test a new feature til this offseason is rather short now.

And thank you, doing the best I can - even it is not always funny. Especially on those copycat calls that come up here and there...that's simply unfair, since it is not true
