Hi, not sure if this was discussed or not, but I would highly appreciate to have a chance to play Pu and Ki the same way the Pats has done. To make it simple only one guy for both positions.

In Pats Gostkowski is the kicker and Zoltan Mesko the punter

If you let your kicker play as Kicker AND Punter there is no penalty for the punterposition.

why is there no penalty for playing K as P? Because if that player is both of them... when he does his training does he train in both Kicking and Punting with no disadvantages? I dont like that..

He can train in Punting or in Kicking each training session - but not both at the same time.

So he will take twice as long to train to Punting=30 and Kicking=30 than a player who only trained Punting all the time will take to reach 30 in Punting.

So the advantage of having a Punter AND a Kicker is they will train faster as they will specialize.

If you have a player with good Strength and the Strong Leg trait, I would recommend training him in either Kicking or Punting first, and having a second player learn the other skill until your Strong Leg guy maxes out (or reaches the level you want), and then start cross training him in the other discipline. That way your special teams will be stronger while you train/crosstrain him. You can always sell the mono-skill guy when you are done.
