in my division i am top but it say i have clinched division which i thought would mean an automatical play off but for some reason the team that came second in my division has a wildcard playoff but i dont do you know any reason for this

Because as 2nd best winner you have a free round playing vs. one of the two winners of the wildcard games
Just go to the bottom of your league page to see the schedule!

Playoffs equals:

8 spots for the division winners

Plus

4 wildcard spots for the 2 best teams from each conference that did NOT win their division
