If the contract runs out at the end of a season, just re-negotiate it.

I think I invested 1-2 hours for the contracts of my whole roster. It was worth it.

Who not make Talent determine training speed and Teamwork do what it says in the manual - be useful for players working as a team so helpful for Linemen and players making group tackles.

Might need some adjustment to compensate players who signed high TW low talent players for training reasons but long term seems more sensible.
