My wife is absolutely devastated with how amazing these Olympics has been.
I'm English and moved over here with my Australian wife last year. She moved from Australia in 1999 meaning that she has missed the Olympics twice! She played tennis and netball internationally and loves her sport, so to have missed out on the global games twice by just a few months isn't a laughing matter! I'm incredibly proud of the show we put on in London. It may have looked like it was touch and go before it all started, but the UK certainly came through in the end.
