I made the groups by overall rating, both groups average around 53.75%. Looks like some exciting matchups are about to happen. There's a lot of Thunder in Group 2, with long standing rivalries between Bears and Fraggles back from he 2.1 days and a current divisional bout between Bears and Priors. Long time MoC veteran Quarry Bay, who missed out on the playoffs (with a winning record!) last time due to an thrilling OT loss to the Springheel Jacks, will have to wait till the playoffs for revenge, since they found themselves in Group 1. The Underachiveres won the MoC II and their worst offensive output back then was 27 points in the finale against FAJNY TIM. They sat out last time, so they get to see a completely new set of faces this time around, and those Ds this time definitely look different than the ones they faced back then. Their still favored to win the group, but they will have to earn it no doubt. Looking forward to the cup! Good luck to y'all! |
