The premise of this cup is that you are only allowed to use one formation for the entire cup. You can change your playbook so long as you keep the formation the same the whole way. I'm open to having a single formation per game and you could change from one game to the next.
You must state the formation to your opponent before the game. The rest of the details are below. So...does anyone have any interest in this type of cup? If I don't have enough interest I'll delete it. I could restart it with using power mode if that would help. I could also run an 8 team FC and each team gets a formation to use the whole tournament.
It would be like a battle of the formations. |

honor system. I mean if some dude came on here and just ran his playbook like normal there isn't anything I could or would do. That guy would get grief from the other participants I'd imagine.

ok, went through the cups going on now and there are several cups the regulars are playing in for a few more weeks at least. So I won't expect much interest until those are finished...

I'd still like feedback on this format and what would make it better...such as..
Number of teams.. Formation for a team to use the whole cup or Each individual team can use only one formation type in a game so they can change the formation from game to game. or Each team can only use one formation type in game one time. So you would be forced to have one game using 4wrsg (if you wanted that one) but you couldn't use it again. You have to choose another formation in a different game. or each team uses only one formation through the whole cup like the first suggestion, but only that team can use that formation. IT would be a battle of the formations. Finally normal or power. I'll remake the cup based on the feedback from those 3 topics. |

So if i play SFNiner (knowing he will SG4 the ass out of me all game) i get to choose was formation he will play instead - so may s e l e c t say Wishbone - he then has to use Wishbone on every offensive play - and i can set my D accordingly! That would test your mettle! |
