Not a good moment to play against the "Gilets Jaunes", when their old enemy Macron is in so big trouble
 But we won, and now we can really hope to stay in Elite. Saturday game against the Falcons will be crucial |

And now for the Post-Game Show. Here's how the big pick games played out:
Sydney Sea Eagles @ BobBoy Magpies - even: (Magpies won by 9) - BobBoys were down 14 at halftime, but owned the 2nd half, keeping them at the top of their division. Stone Mountain Hawks 2 @ Black Dragons - Hawks by 5 (Hawks won by 13) - Hawks keep themselves in the race, even though still last in their division (at 7-4!) H2TAGIT4Q @ mystics - mystics by 10 (mystics won by 6 in OT) - It was a close game, with mystics coming from behind to eventually win in overtime, keeping themselves also in the race in the Division of Death and almost certifying Pete's exit from Elite. Melittlemenon thepitchhitchin @ Sunrise City Prarie Dogs - Prarie Dogs by 10 (Dogs won by 30) - the little men fell and are now behind the cut in their division. Mustangs @ KMN Mandalorians - Mandos by 14 (KMN barely covered with a 16 point win) - no surprise here San Diego Blitz @ People Republic of Yorkshire - Yorkies by 6 (PRY won by 1) - it was proclaimed Match of the Day, and ended up looking like it when the Blitz scored a TD with less than a minute left. Too bad about that no 2-point conversions bit. Space Kraken @ Social Distance Runners - Kraken by 1 (Space won by 20) - not quite as close as projected, leaving SDR in the middle of the NCE muck. |

First we survived 3 missed 50+ FGs by the Falcons, then slowly came back from 13-0 and then a 3 interception 4th quarter sealed the deal for us. NC West might not be the highest ranked division, but it'll be a bloodbath for survival till the last gameday.

ACW action: BobBoy Magpies @ Bracciano Lakers - even - The ACW division leaders face off in a battle of supremacy. I think I have to lean BobBoy here, and not just because he made my boys cry like little girls last game. People Republic of Yorkshire @ Melittlemenon thepitchhitchin - Yorkshire by 14 - The little men want in on that ACW action, but Power to the People in this game. NCE action: Social Distance Runners @ KMN Mandalorians - KMN by 15 - It seems like way too high a spread for the two leaders of this group, but that just shows how dominant the Mandos have been this season. mystics @ TigerCats - mystics by 4 - Winning the PD means a win here could put mystics out of the relegation zone. Missouri Misery @ Stone Mountain Hawks 2 - Hawks by 16 - I wish this spread weren't so high, but a dream my heart makes won't get the job done; this game should keep the Hawks very divisionally relevant. ACE action: Paris Guardians @ Air Force Falcons - Guardians by 4 - The Falcons really need this game to stave off relegation, but I'm going with the Parisians, just because I watched Guardians of the Galaxy 3 last night, so it's a good omen. H2TAGIT4Q @ Sydney Sea Eagles - Seagulls by 3 - not a very consequential game, but two good teams, so it should be interesting. Nice of you to mention us, but given the state that we are in at the moment no game is fairly easy for us, especially since the Yellowjackets know how to beat us. Hopefully home field advantage levels this out a little, like it did against the Bobbers on Tuesday, but I decided to not be too confident about anything anymore this season...  |
