BoaTek - if Olband and you go back up.. what a waste of a Season, so I hope the Season56 will see better games for the others in Fire .. NOT that I wish you bad results.. but I am sure you understand The four teams remaining are locked and loaded. No turning back now. Two teams will soon celebrate and the other two will start their offseason today. All games are final, no exchanges or refunds! It isn’t looking too good for my guys right now G. You may have to put up with me again next season. Of course it is disappointing, but that’s football. Same as in real life. It is difficult to beat a team three times in a season. For my team, anything less than a Super Bowl win is a failed season these days. With that said, I am excited about my roster next season and can’t wait to get cracking. Tommy Fitzsimmons is returning and the future face of the organization, Jonah Shah, will start getting a lot more starts as we transition to the future. I will be back! |

Congratulations to Mustangs for getting their win. I look forward to locking horns with them in the FireBowl!
Condolences to the Norsemen, but to be honest, I'm a little relieved you won't be in my division next year As for our game, it was a grind for the last 3 quarters, all defense and field goals as predicted, but that 1st quarter with all those fast picks... killed it for the Chompers. Either he for some reason had medium range passes selected, or his QB was seriously hung over; it was weird. Last edited on 2024-04-16 16:16:47 by Olband |

Honestly, yeah, I've had medium passes setup in this playbook forever, I thought it was long passes that had the issues?
If that's the case, does literally everyone just run short passes for all their passing plays? Either way, good game, you had my playbook down to a T pretty much, I didn't change a thing and it shows. Just don't have the time to go through the playbooks/games of the big boys, which is another reason I'll be here in D1. Best of luck to the remaining teams! |

Yes, though they're not as bad as deep passes, medium passes also carry increased risk of interceptions, so I only use them in very specific situations. Sorry that you weren't aware of that already; I'd have preferred playing you straight up. Perhaps another time.

Guys you BOTH did what was right. Olband saw what he thought game would be, FG Punts. But got ALL the breaks early.. Golrath- to answer the short pass idea. maybe 1stQ { let QB find range, AGAIN { like I told Wooly} to change a playbook play only takes 1 minute or 2.. IE- go to playbook, so a shotgun2 play on a 2nd down - copy and change run / pass yardage ETC.. then scrimmage, what works keep.. Hope helps.. as the Mustangs get a Bowl they will get the chance to undo the other to zip record.. Olband will be warned...

Thanks, and duly noted, I guess it just hasn't bitten me this hard in the rear before, so I didn't think twice of it. I'll have to make a couple offensive playbooks and cycle between ones I like to try and help out with this. Good luck in the last game! |

We're being asked if we want to participate in some inter-league Friday Friendly matches again. Likely against Sea Devils and Dragons.
Is everyone interested in trying that again? |

I'd be down, I found some time to stop being lazy and built out a new playbook, who knows how it will go, tried a few scrimmages against my old one and it seems good.
