I won't bring it up again after this unless prompted to, but I wanted to share a video made by a couple guys who have been playing Front Office Football for a long time (one of them for 20 years at least). They speak extensively about chemistry, affinities, and how that system, those rules, are basically a different way to succeed in the league. I enjoyed the intro to the video and hearing about the folks in it, but if you're limited on time, start at minute 18:00 and they go right into the chemistry elements.
This is a paid for game, so the developer has received at least $30 from every player (as they bought the game), so you'd expect a lot more, but to be honest, I have found Red Zone Action MUCH more fun. I realize I was making the astrological portion sound fantastical. It can be replaced with something else. This is just for idea's sake. Something to let marinate. |

I kind of liked the 3rd suggestion back on the OP - though I think maybe instead of just massively increasing PC loss based on # of snaps, maybe look at increasing the penalty of having low energy during a game?
Would make managers think twice about just force starting their best the whole game, and think about where they want to spend to have quality backups, instead of half the roster just being injury backups / transfer sell fodder. I'm all for things that increase the # of decisions managers have to make, and that suggestion actually feels like it might spur expenditure overall on wages and potentially add a little more activity to the TM, as people look to add depth. In the beginning there was a player council of sorts called the Knights or sth (it was before my time). Is it an idea to set up sth similar to come up with well thought out suggestions for changes to the game in so far that Pete deems this to be a realistic option.

The were/are the RZA Knight, which were/are players who did support and play the game prior go-live.
And there was a 'Board of advisors' with from Peter invited managers to discuss changes. But that is dead since some time. |

Being knighted by Pete is all I've been able to think about since finding out about it 20 seconds ago.

I'm not sure why this couldn't be achieved in public, in a thread like this one where all managers can discuss various ideas. Why do you think a s e l e c t group would be more helpful than the community? |

Being knighted by Pete is all I've been able to think about since finding out about it 20 seconds ago. I gotcha. I'm sure it was interesting getting things rolling with that group. Now it's more like what Meitheisman is saying, forum based. Still... If there's ever a reason or purpose for say, a Jedi Order... I promise not to go Sith Lord on everyone. |

Oh yes, it was a great time, and without these fellows I would have not been able to put RZA online so fast. |

It's basically always the same group in the forums with some additions and losses here and then... |
