Seems, it would be less worse for you if the creator of the game wouldnt play the game at all. Which was by the way a serious question I was raising many years ago. Luckily, the majority of the owners told me to play the game as every other manager does, including being halfway active on the transfer market ... #memories

I think being good at spotting transfer market players is the key to maintained success given there usually isn't much help coming out of the draft, and even with a premium YA, maybe 3-4 worthy promotees at best each season, though usually less

Anything else than another loss against our opponent today, the Brookfield Ukies, would be a huge surprise.
And seeing the individual power that the Ukies have at nearly every starting position on offense and especially defense I came to the conclusion that us staying Elite for another season would be an even bigger surprise. We're just not set up good enough, having in some units of our squad only half the abilities and possibilities that the Ukies have.

I've been struggling in every game so far and won very tight 3 games, 2 of them in OT after opponents missed field goals. My squad is pretty strong, but my playbook has been suspect, but every time I try to modify it I fail miserably like last game. So today it'll be a conservative approach and probably another tight game. Good luck to us both lol.
