Hi Guys,
In preparation for the new season lets have a look at the changes to the divisions in the top flight. AC East No Change AC North It's goodbye to London Bulldogs who lost in the relegation play offs to Heidelburg Aquanauts who won 2.1 AC West convincingly last season. AC South It's goodbye to Superheroes on Vacation (SHoV) who went bot last season and welcome back to Prague Lions, who were in AC East 2 seasons ago and were 2.1 Bowl Finalists last season. AC West Goodbye to Dolphins Pisa and welcome back to turigtians esports club (TEC) who also previously spent 6 seasons in AC East and come back as 2.2 Bowl Winners. NC East It's goodbye to standbyme and Sabercats Sopot who both went bot last season and welcome to Damaryans Strikers, 2.1 Bowl Winners and The Blizzard who won 2.1 NC South last season. NC North Goodbye to Steelers, who went bot last season and lost the relegation play off match to salamander assassins, who surprised everyone in 2.2 when he reached the Conference Championship match. NC South No Change NC West It's good bye to Berlin Templar Knights, who were automatically relegated and to Severnside Falcons who lost their relegation play off match against Red Stars. Welcome to Red Stars lost in 2.1 Conference Championship match and also to sur la route who were the 2.2 Bowl Finalists. Later this week I will do my pre-season look into each division adb give my toughts for the new season. Predictions will be running again if hosh13, SimKon and Wisen are interested again, plus anyone else from any of the divisions who want to predict on Thunder 1.1 matches feel free to post, look at season 9 for posting methods, I'm sure Wisen and myself will keep score. It is for fun. Don't forget to post comments and rants in this forum as it makes the season more interesting. CofC and Supercup information also done by pete and preachie now and I wish you well in those competitions. I should also remind you to check you have prepped your draft selection and wish you the worst of luck in the draft so the best players will come to me. So then welcome to Heidelberg Aquanauts, Prague Lions, TEC, The Blizzard, Damaryans Strikers, salamander assassins, Red Stars and sur la route. Good luck to all for the forthcoming season and let the fights begin. Last edited on 2013-09-29 13:09:33 by Bovakian |

Thanks for the welcome.
I hope I can survive 1.1 and improve my team so I wont just drop down to 2.x end of season. But winning anything wont be a target this season. |

Yeah, you did well to get promoted with a sub 50 rating. I was very surprised at some of the results of the relegation games tbh.
So if you can avoid outright relegation and at least get to the relegation round again then there's no reason you can't win another! Good luck to all. Anything less than a playoff birth + win at least 1 playoff game and I'll be considering it a failure. |

hi all,
..so, I am here then.. nice.. i came here through wildcard and a "big" win in divisional playoff (3:0) and over bot in relegation game (there is one big lucky road behind me).. this is the beginning of my third season and just hoping for a good one.. or at least a good ending of season (which would be not getting relegated).. or at least least a good draft.. anyway good luck to all.. |

Good luck to everyone. I think I need to really step it up this year from the last couple and make the play-offs.

Here's Bova's look at the divisions for Season 10 (fingers-crossed, nobody changes their name or goes bot before season start)
As usual we start with AC East Chelseas Nation managed by E Logic - 2nd Season 1.1 record 15-1 Division Winners Season 9 Die Verdammten managed by Lawinenhund - 2nd Season 1.1 record 7-9 Juan Renegades managed by roberto2014 - 6th Season 1.1 record 50-30 Division Winners Seasons 6 & 8 Totoras Patriots managed by JonatanRiver - 7th Season 1.1 record 43-53 Chelsea Nation proved that they were well prepared in their rookie season and unless there are any unforseen problems they should retain the divisional title here. Die Verdammten showed that they were not overawed last season and will now look improve to a winning record this season and hopefully a play off spot. Juan Renegades have their work cut out to retake the divisional title and may find that the competition in the division will be tougher this season. Totoras Patriots, I said it last season and I'll say it again this season, it's about time Jonatan got his team working together, there is no reason why he should not get back to winning ways, but he has got to make sure he stops having silly defeats. Position Forecast 1st Nation 2nd Renegades 3rd Verdammten 4th Patriots |

onto
AC North General Rodriguez Warriors managed by Nestoro - 8th season 1.1 record 87-25 Division Winners Seasons 3,4,5,6,7 & 8 Hackney Marshes managed by Majortinkle - 2nd season 1.1 record 8-8 Heidelberg Aquanauts managed by Cornsnake - Rookie season Sydney Convicts managed by hosh13 - 3rd Season 1.1 record 21-11 Division Winners Season 9 General Roriguez Warriors will hope not to have the start he had least season and to be back challenging the Convicts for the divisional title. Hackney Marshes will now look to make the divisional title a three way fight after a relatively successful rookie season. Heidelberg Aquanauts will have to find their feet quickly in this division and conference to enjoy the top flight for more than the one season. Sydney Convicts showed much enterprise winning the divisional title last season and will have to do it all again this season if he wants to retain it to progress further in the play offs. Position Forecast 1st Convicts 2nd Warriors 3rd Marshes 4th Aquanauts Last edited on 2013-10-03 19:22:16 by Bovakian |

and now
AC South Budapest Wolves managed by janos - 9th season 1.1 record 87-41 Joburg Brawlers managed by Nelson777 - 5th season 1.1 record 41-23 Landru Athletics managed by notsch - 9th season 1.1 record 118-10 Division Winners Seasons 2,3,4,5,6,7,8 & 9 Thunder Bowl Winners Seasons, 2,4,5,6,7 & 9 Prague Lions managed by Finglow - 2nd season 1.1 record 1-15 (AC East Season 8) Budapest Wolves really took umbridge on my comments at the start of last season and proved that they can still mix it up at the top, keep up the good work janos. Joburg Brawlers must be wondering want they have to do to get close to a divisional title, well it's still more hard work. Landru Athletics, the maestro returns, who will stop this Athletics dominance of Thunder, back to winning the big one after a one season hiccup, hopefully we are not in for another three seasons before the next hiccup. Prague Lions return to the top league for their second attempt with a stronger squad, but unfortunately they have ended up in a stronger division. Position Forecast 1st Athletics 2nd Wolves 3rd Brawlers 4th Lions Last edited on 2013-10-03 19:28:35 by Bovakian |
