OK, heres the idea - and opening it initially to my Admirals colleagues.
For next season, i will be trialling a fantasy competition and would like anywhere between 8 and 16 managers (total, incl myself!) to join me. Heres the concept. During the closeseason, i will be picking a range of teams, in all likelihood all 1.1 teams from across the 8 Leagues and assigning them a value. You will then have a budget to spend to pick you team, which can be anywhere between (likely) 1 and 6 teams, as long as the total amount stays within budget. You will then have a fixture and, much like NFL fantasy, you will score points according to a points system, with the high score of your fixture getting the win. There will be a range of points, from wins, to points scored, to bonuses for shutouts, safeties etc - but all will be taken from the games played and the TEAM performance - no individual players. I will then compile a league table according to the results and over a set period - maybe 8/10 games initially for the trial - u p d a t e the tables etc. If Pete allows, for the trial, ill give the winner some credits myself - maybe also he will allow an 'entry' fee with all the credits going into the pot (less an RZA admin deduction!) for prizes for the top places. So thats the concept - any questions please ask - otherwise please register your interest - i may invite certain other managers (and Pete himself!) to take part also.
