I know that when a physical skill becomes red capped, it can supposedly still be trained at a slower rate. Does anyone know roughly how slow redcapped physicals can be trained?

Do you have a ballpark estimate, like 10% speed? 5% speed? 1%??

The reason I'm asking is because I have a 50 TW guy with good coaching that can easily cap all of his non-physical skills and run out of things to train, but his physical caps leave something to be desired. If I could raise them by say... a point or so, this guy would be much better.

I don't have specifics, but I've never seen an increase. I'm not saying it can't happen, but you would probably get a better player by adding other secondary skills. maybe to make the player better on special teaams or something.

I understand that, and I'm not suggesting otherwise. It's just that the guy I have in mind already has a good amount of EVERY relevant secondary and even tertiary skill he could want.

I've been training a QB at 90% on Strength for 2 RZA weeks with a LB coach that is 96 and his Strength hasn't gone up 0.1 yet.... Will keep training 90% Strength until it goes up and report back unless someone already knows....

REPORTING IN...

After only 3 weeks my QB is up from 39.8 to 39.9, this is with a 96 LB coach so hope this helps...

I've had a couple guys pop 0.1 point after one session at 90%. The problem is with just a 0.1 pop, you can't tell how close they were already. I'd have to take one of those guys to the next .1 increment to see how much it really took.

I also noticed that guys who are at a round number are sometimes not really red capped. Last session I trained 6 guys who all went up 0.5 points despite being red. I'm betting its a rounding thing (they were really 44.97, but it rounded to 45 and shows the ! based on the round). I also had 3 players stay at their round number and one guy go up 0.1. I'm assuming that second set of guys was over their rounded number (e.g. 45.02), and the last guy that popped 0.1 was just because he was already close to the increment (e.g. 49.048).

If I remember correctly from the testing stage I had a 0.1 pop around every 10 trainings.
From my point of view not worth the try.

I think I'm going to try for a few trainings and record the data. If it's too slow, I was just going to sell him anyways.
