I absolutely agree, but having a player with 49.9 strength myself, i am quite keen on knowing the outcome of this experiment...

I'm with Pete on this and looking at Drac32Dracs player, it'd definitly make more sense to get all the sensible skills close to 40 (well not one skill at a time, that's too expensive, but by defining plateaus based on each contracts length and so on) or whatever number you have in mind, before you start "wasting" training points on capped physicals, that wont have as much impact as his main skills anyway. his age should be at least 26 before you get AGI, Tackling, Footwork, Vision, Positioning (all useful skills for a DL) to 40. that way he will sooner be productive and you still have enough time to push the physical caps (since you maybe wouldnt want him to become too expensive anyway by pushing his skills too high too soon) if you still like to do that.

Sorry I misunderstood you.

As a throwaway player, he seems a reasonable test case. If you want to keep him, then I wouldn't do it. By my sums he should cap everything just before he is 31.

I think generally, training caps isn't something that is going to be a good idea. The only player's you'd want to do it for are those who have already capped everything (or are as high as you want to pay for). These players are likely to be your best players and over 30 so keeping PC at 100% will be priority. Guess you can do it for end-of-season training.

If I hadn't tried training a guy with a red cap, I never would have realized that the players aren't always really capped when they show the red !

After only 3 weeks my QB is up from 39.8 to 39.9, this is with a 96 LB coach so hope this helps...
