I looked up your coaches for you. The HC is 4.5 star and the AC is 4 star. Some simple math using the formula in the manual yields the effective CP of a 96 CP AC at about 98.4 (give or take a rounding issue). Using the formula in the manual to determine TPs awarded on the training (and modifying for 90% physical training and facilities) we get about 0.594 TPs awarded per training update.

For the record, that's a bit faster than my test case, but still in the general range.

If your rate of 3 training sessions per 0.1 TP holds over multiple runs(and if there is no further diminishing returns that we yet know nothing about), then we can calculate a rough estimate of the rate reduction of training a red-capped player to 0.056(5.6%) or more likely 0.05(5%).

If we instead take the 5% value as fact and use the data you gave, we can now calculate that each training of your red-capped player awards about 0.03 TP's per update. If this is true, I'd expect that it should take ten training sessions to nearly exactly get a 0.3 point boost on the player in question.

Expanding this calculation further, assuming no injuries....... I'd expect that over an entire season(24 weeks) the player can raise by about 0.7 points of strength(0.8 if he's very lucky).

If you intend to keep training the player, please do keep us updated if the above holds true. I would not be surprised if one of your upcoming sets of training cycles takes four sessions instead of three to get the next 0.1 point.

And on the third day, he rose. Gustav Nestroy went up by 0.1 points after 3 training sessions (I accidentally switched him off of Strength for one session, oops!). This was his first attempt since being red-capped, so it is mostly meaningless as there is no telling how far into his 0.1 point he was to begin with. It will take at least one more series of trainings to nail it down. By my calculations, if it is 5%, he should take almost exactly 4 training sessions to raise one more 0.1 point. Then we can pretty much put the issue to rest.

Don't mention it. I'm sure most of us have wondered about it at some point or another.

And 4 days later, we have one more 0.1 point for Mr. Nestroy. If it isn't 5% then it is so close to it that we can disregard the difference. I am going to consider this mystery solved.

For those that still don't fully appreciate how much slower the training actually is, you could train 20 points in other AC supported skills in the time it takes to train 1 full point in a capped physical skill.
