I didn't win as much as survive, especially after Timothy Solis fumbled twice on two consecutive drives late in the game.
I have more gray on my head after that one.  |

LOL - at the end of the first half my kicker misses from 38 yds with 1:26 on the clock, then slots one from 63 yds with 0:17 to score what turned out to be the winning 3 points!
Overall though I felt like we controlled the game. Made yards on just about every play. Offense was on top for both teams, but crucially we made 4 sacks to 1 which probably turned out to be the real difference. Our rushing game also did the job, for once moving further on the ground than through the air. Well done to the Crows for their season, I always enjoy our derby games, and I'm please that one of us is in the final. Also big thanks to Paxtang. Strike Team are the only league side to beat me this year. I was worried that my loss to them in the first game was going to result in a book ended season with another loss to them in the last. I've never gone head to head with the Panthers, and while I am confident in my team, I'm sure it's going to be another tight affair. |

Strike Team did so far not win the real tough games. During the regular season they are a manace to all other teams, but since the became regular playoff members, they did lose at some point. I think they can do the next step, but my guts are saying they will fall again.Proof me wrong. Nice championship games! The NC game looked quite controlled, the AC one was a nail biter. Those two fumbles of the leading team were almost a gift, but thanks to their defense and a big fault in the playbook the team survived. Teahupoo83, have a look into your playbook. Trailing by 4 and then kicking a FG with time running out doesn't make sense. Congratulation to both winners, you just made it back to the Elite league. 2015-07-28 17:00 Bowl Paxtang Black Panthers vs. Down Under Devils I'm sorry, but at this point, there is only a coin toss possible to pick a winner. Wins, losses, chemistry, PC, they are all almost the same and it doesn't make sense to get here in details. Bottom line is, the gods of luck will grant one of the teams the win. My pick is on the Devils, because my guts do tell me it that way. Small notes: Black Dragons won their championship game and will compete for the Bowl in the Elite League, again against the Mascots. Secret Air Service and Manchester Machine will relgate back to the 1.1. They will get into the AC West and the NC South. In one of the relegation games will really be a match between 2 human teams be played and it will be a Paris-City-Duel. |
