Thanks Angus, now I get to play you again with 6 of my best starters retiring!
Unlike my first bowl win, I felt we deserved this, and it's been the final culmination of the plan I implemented way back in season 5. 
Some changes to my playbook before the start of the season produced a more balanced game. A club record 6000+ passing yds, and a club record 3350 yds rushing for the season showed the quality of the side. Defensively, all stats were near club records, and my safeties missed only two tackles for the season. Our good offense was only possible thanks to the outstanding defence. 
My kicker also managed two crucial 60yd+ field goals during the year to round out a fantastic all round team effort. Apart from the first up loss to Strike Team, I felt like we controlled every match, even the close ones. Congrats to Panthers for a good season. They just caught us on a good day, and I'm sure any rematch would be a much closer affair. In fact, well done to the entire Monarchs league. It's been an enjoyable season, and I hope you are all still playing when I no doubt return in two seasons time.   |
