Give away 50 millions all in one time? This is almost the quantity of money I usually burn in the off-season due to my team's overall expenses. I definitely will never be one of those richest managers and for sure don't need ever more uncertainty in my poor finances struggling each season with bankrupt

I plan on breaking my bank this offseason for some free-agents to bolster my roster. That said, I should be able to commit at least half of the mediacenter funding.
In the Sea Devils forum they're writing what everyone plans to commit and our available funds. Since we all benefit from this feature, I think full trust and transparency is needed to get the most out of it. If people only put $25M in it doesn't look like we'll collectively make any money.
Currently in Elite there are $690M pledged or ~$21.6M per team. I've pledged $50M and it tells me I would get $1.5M per week or $36M So if the league average is at $21.6M a team pledging $50M would lose $14M. |

I haven't looked in to this yet but I have the funds available to commit $50m but like others have said start with $5m and increase as we go on

I do not like this starting with $5M and waiting to see how this goes. I see a good chance of ending up pledging $20M or $25M myself and only getting $10/15M back which would basically mean losing money based on other manager's decisions. Not sure why I should risk that.
I'd much rather know how much, as a league of 32 managers, we are willing to pledge and calculate the return. Basically if we're over $800M it's worth it, if not we shouldn't pledge anything. We could do something like a kickstarter kind of thing where we all say how much we are willing to pledge now but we only have to put the money in the media center if the $800M are reached before rollover. In this situation I'd be happy to pledge the full $50M. Of course a manager could promise to pledge $50M and then not do it but such a tactic would be like lying about player's caps on the TM forum which as far as I know barely ever happens. |
