lets get this started everyone! Hoping for a great season ahead, and let me say good game to the denver death in a close week 1 that went to the wire
 but we hung on & pulled out with a victory late! hope your matchup went the way you planned it! if not, there's always another week to get a W!
On a side note after playing lights out in week 1 my starting QB has unfortunately received an injury that will take him out some games, now im looking to seeing what my backup does in next week's matchup with the drinkers, I've been grooming him for this moment and I've seen nothing but good things from him so i'm positive he can step up and deliver a win. No guarantees, though 
(P.S.: here's to hoping that McKay does another edition of his season preview/power rankings, I know they were probably alot of work to compile but those were really awesome to see and it gave me a little extra motivation to try and get my team to do better, crossing my fingers for another one man great job  ) |

The Drinkers are in the first of at least two seasons of financial recovery. We kicked all high paid players before last season rollover, and hope not to get relegated. We are here, but not competitive.

Sucks to hear about your recent troubles and i'm sure a speedy recovery is in order, so I dont expect the drinkers to be out of the competition for long |

No troubles, but planned for some time...the roster was just to expensive, and after a few seasons of overspending, it is time to fix the finances first.

I'm probably going to be in that boat next season. I've been trying to slowly clean house but I hang on to some players for sentimental reasons and end up losing money. |

Well, after 47 months and change, I finally got a win against the Drinkers ....
 
Now I need to figure out how much of the elderly $100k+ per week section of the roster I should keep in case I get back to Elite. I should have a better idea what the odds of that happening are after I match up with Black Bulls Tuesday. I guess for now I should start dropping some of the "emotional attachment to bits & bytes" types that have had good careers, but are probably a tier below deserving to be in the team HoF and have at least the beginning of a succession plan in place.  example
Nuri Khalil He's been solid throughout his career ... but he needs a team that will play him A LOT more to cash that weekly check. |
