I took the risk with the #1 pick (dear, was that a bad year from my young team) and got hurt. caps everywhere.
Anyone luckier or happy after round 1? |

I normally draft for best player rather than need, especially in the 1st round.
This year, with my depth at WR looking bare bones at best, I put the best WR on the board at #1, and got him with the #32 pick... Happy with that - ok he's now 22, but that doesn't matter, he'll be on the main roster in 3 seasons. |

I thought there were 5 very strong picks. I got my #6
 At least his strength isn't capped; if he doesn't cap at 48 he could end up being a very good OL with that Pass Blocker trait.

The CB I picked up looks pretty good. 20 years old, 50 speed, 40 INT and 31.5 strength still uncapped but only 30 TW so it'll take him a while to join the 1st team but at least he shouldn't end up on the market

Gladiators and Hurricanes picked up two others. I got the #3 on my board Aurel Gatcan. DL 19yr 50str, 44sp, sure tackler. He'll be starter ready right as my aging DL starts retiring.
