HR Department will close Friday midnight, so deadline moved one day forward

Sorry you lose a big part of your team.

Almost all of my players aged under 25...

@Pete, did you know I hate (a lot) this rule of "HR closed" ?

Me too, but there is no other way around that

Last friday night I was out having some drinks with friends and I had to leave because of the "HR closed" deadline.
I didn't miss the deadline but I missed some drinks !

You should have done your homework a day or two earlier. I don't feel guilty.

I usually handle any salary issue after the last training session...why wait to the very late minute?

As do I normally...

But this time I was inundated with unexpected work after the last training session...

I have multiple jobs
-daytime in a shop - I was asked to do an extra shift on Wednesday.
- I host a quiz night every Thursday, and due to the extra shift at the shop, I had to get the preparation done on Wednesday night
- plus I also do seeding work for motor rallies, and have been working on one for next weekend - on Wednesday afternoon I got an email asking if they could have it ready for publication on Thursday, instead of the usual Saturday - so after getting the quiz ready I was up until the early hours working on that...

... I spent most of today sleeping!

I've just negociated 59 contracts in less than 25 minutes.
All contracts at 86% of estimation based on skills and "This and another season" (the easiest and fastest).
Only two times generous : 37266 instead of 25770 and 53975 instead of 53575. That's ok, no player lost.

Now the player is paid 25779 instead of 37266.
Still $9 too much.

Is there any guidance on franchise contracts?

I just tried to sign a current + 4 year, but the player refused my final offer of 175% of the asking price. He would have earned much more than the currently most expensive player on my roster.

There is a huge difference between negotiating before rollover and after rollover, since the players do calculate also the estimated progress into the demandings.
And no, I don't have a guideline for franchise contracts after rollover.

It looks like it is roughly 185% for a 5 year franchise contract at the beginning of the season and 135% for a 5 year franchise contract at the end of the season or a 4 year franchise contract at the beginning of the season.

Some Seniors (60) will leave the Team if we don't act before 2020-05-30 HR Department.
