Yes
- if the injured player selection is not only random but based on PC and/or sacks and/or anything that does not make a realistic and fun game become hazardous.

- AND if options or whatever are added to help manage the roster and deal with injuries (Meitheisman :"lack of options for substitutions")
Suggestion by Yashin : "Add Second string option (at least for some positions)"

I thought hard about it and voted no even though I can totally live with this

didnt do it to just go against the mainstream, to me its more of a "mayo on a burger" question - in the end its about the whole "randomness" issue.

now football is a really randomn sport, so much depends on luck, so of course thats a reflection of reality, I get that.

now please stick with me a really good burger doesnt need mayo to be tasty. yet sometimes its put on there just out of habit it seems, it dominates every other tasty flavour already in there. and if there is another sauce or even cheese involved, the mayo combo is totally redundant and you could just eat a bun drenched in sauces.

and here's what I'm afraid more injuries could do to RZA: sure there is the novelty at first, but after like half a season, it might just become another sauce added onto an already good burger. you get used to it, sick of it, and in the end it could be just another source of frustration - that for sure does even stuff out a bit, but makes the way we got there less understandable and, well, less flavourful. except, in the end - well, the more meaty (richer) patties will win out.

but its not about some particular ingredient - and I'm totally fine with the idea in general - its more about the sum of the parts I recognize and this seems more in the sauce than in the meats kind of department. but I'll let you kids have it because I know you like McD

thats probably my weirdest comment ever

I see it as one more step towards creating the complexity of the real game. I get your point but that is more to do indeed if the implementation is such that indeed it's a random thing that can happen.

Hattrick (soccer management game) used to (still does?) link injuries partly to training intensity. The higher the more benefit from training but also higher risk of getting injuries. Of course injuries are sort of random but there are definitely more players that get injured more than others. Seeing injury history could for example drive price of a transfer listed player down and allow a team to take a gamble. I am going outside of the scope of this topic now but it illustrates how it doesn't need to be just one more annoying thing you have to deal with.

I played Hattrick a long time ago too I see what you are going for, but making "health" a skill (which it probably is IRL) seems like a long way to go and it would ad a new filter for player development, like the physicals, intelligence, teamwork

A new skill takes us 15 seasons to introduce it and to turn it into something active, please keep this in mind

Right now I am thinking about to rename all your players...

Mayo Cucumber, Pommes Beef...names like that. Your OLers firstname would be Wimp, across the board
