I dream of a division where Spaceballs are ahead of Secret Air Service and Torchwood Aliens

You know, the powers that be have no problem cramming three good teams
into one division.

Of course, the powers that be have no sympathy for the fourth team which
has very limited chances to make any playoff anytime soon.

I don't get it.

We have some strange Teams in our Region, regarding Coaches and economy Setup.

And I just don't get why they do it that way.

Why no choaches, or just a few Coaches?
The Team will never get to full potential and therefor will never compete for a bowl. Never.

Why no mediacenter payments when it did matter most, beginning of the season?
It's free Money and it's a lot of Money. It's an economical disadvantage not to pledge. So longterm you just don't get to the Point where the other Teams are.

Why no complete Stadium after many Seasons in the game?
Fine you don't have to Play the extra renovation fees, but that is not THAT much Money compared to the income you miss. And since some of the Stadiums are really small, not in 6 figure ball park, it is again an economical disadvantage.

And last but not least, why not Chat in the Forum and Exchange ideas, ask for help or simple be part of the community?
If you are not active in the community, you will be ignored in best case, is my expierence and that will not serve you well. How many active Players thought about quitting after a bad game or Season and were somehow cheered up by the community to stay? A lot.
If you are silent, no many will care about you leaving.

There are again several Teams not active since a week and my experience is, that 95% of those Teams will fall bot, only a few do save their account on the last possible days when the warning mail does come in. And of those usually they fall BOT a Season later or so.

Would they be that way if they would be more successful or active? Not sure but my guess is, no. At least not all.

I did write my guide to give People a cookbook which does help to increase the Management strength Overall and to give some Guidelines to follow when starting or rebuilding, but the numbers are declining, so it seems it did not have much of an inpact, which is a pity.

I don't get it ....

Some people possibly don't realize that this isn't just a game, but a community? And therefore don't take advantage of asking for advice.

In the past, when I was a good guy (before I got corrupted by the dark side) I even mailed some coaches after games offering help but apart from one they ignored me.

When I was a mentor, (before I quit due to reasons pertaining to a season ago) I got a few mails from people. There were only two that ever said thanks and quite a number who even ignored the advice I had given them.

Now I am a bad guy, but I don't know what is going on.

There is another game (an adventure game) that I play and we have alliances. In our alliance of around 25-30 people (it varies from time to time) there are only up to 10 who actively contribute to the forum - and we are *supposed* to be working together!

Sure, I don't expect all Managers to participate, but when you look at the current Teams and which are successful, then all of them are longterm and usually at least did participate a bit.

Of cause People can do their Thing, alone, but when Managers after 4 to 15 Seasons are still playing in odd configurations and Setups, I'm wondering what those Managers do think of their own Balance and all others being more successfull.

What is the Motivation on that? I don't get it.

I totally agree with you. I see some odd things from teams that have been around for a few seasons.

What was quite interesting to me was when I had to buy half a new team last season. The players came from various teams and it was interesting to note the differences in coaching for the same position. Whilst I expect there can be some variance there were also others that stuck out like a sore thumb e.g. veteran players not having STR/SPD maxed or offensive line players with low blocking.

Also some skills trained so highly that their wages were through the roof. As I had to get in about 35 players in 2-3 days I had little choice but I got rid of some pretty soon after and I am focusing on removing more once I see hw training goes. I can afford astronomical wages but I wonder why these players were built that way especially in some cases seeing the teams they had come from.

Having played a while I could start to rebuild those players.

But, why don't people interact more and ask for advice?
