Yes, I did Scout some Players of other Teams from time to time and sometimes it was amazing how odd they were Training.
Same on the Transfer market.

But maybe I'm doing something wrong.

It seems you did make your roster quite young, so no wonder you do suffer in strength right now. Especially QB is very young, so they will lack skills likely, but I did not scout them.

Some positions seems to be a bit overloaded, like TE, where you don't have coaches and usually even by using TE heavy formations you only need 2-3 players on the position. Trainees I would put on OL (for Blocking training) or WR (for CAtching training) and only shifting them to TE short you need them as TE on the field.

You waste training points in YA-players by not shifting them to OL or better DL until they need the position skill training OL or DL coaches can not train.
So lower progress on them right now.

I did write my guide to give People a cookbook which does help to increase the Management strength Overall and to give some Guidelines to follow when starting or rebuilding, but the numbers are declining, so it seems it did not have much of an inpact, which is a pity.

Your guide was very helpful when a couple of seasons ago I started logging in more frequently and investing more time in the game. Thanks!

Regarding the more involvement in community - if I'd get involved more, I'd have to invest more time which I know I don't have. So rather often I limit myself to just reading forums and posting very ocasionally.

Thanks.

Nothing wrong with posting not that often, but posting never is bad, because then all guys reading don't know whether you do even read or not, means whether you are at least interested or not.

Yeah, it was a joke comment to capt jack, as I helped him when he first started.

My team is young and hopefully will reap benefits in a few seasons when they mature.

The Tights ends are overloaded, but Ronnie Engineer will retire soon and Edmond Register will probably be sold to keep the wage bill low, so that will leave just 3. Also the offensive line is too many, but want to give all the youngsters a run out before deciding on the front 5.

I appreciate all that you do for the Monarchs league Jack6, I just wish I had more time to be active on the forums.

Yes, it's true kharton99 is the guy who introduced me to RZA - So now you know who to blame!

He also gave me much help when I started up (I also had a few tips from the managers of Paxtang Black Panthers, Florida Gators, Fairhaven Naughty Dawgs and Caprica Cylons (the latter now retired) )

So kharton99 is the reason that I joined the Monarchs league.

There has been a friendly rivalry between us since I reached 1.1 - I have been motivated to outdo my Master and he has been motivated to prove he is better than his Apprentice. Long may the battle continue!

As for the change of name I wil send you (and anyone else that is interested) a PM - which in itself has some irony

I am curious as to the name change, Jack, I would be interested in hearing about it lol.

This season I am narrowing down my OL and DL, I have too many at the moment, but I am trying to give everyone a shot and seeing who does best. Only the best will remain in the Swamp

Thanks mate! I honestly wrote that game off as a loss when I first saw the schedule, given that our previous meetings with SAS ended up being 28+ point losses, so I am very glad to see that my team is steadily improving and is capable of playing with the teams I regard as being among the best. Now to prepare for an easy win over Dallas...
