WOW!

Just noticed that COC cup has started! First round upset: Norfolk Dumplings beat Leverkusen Leopards of Elite.

Well played dumpling!

Dumplings AC Conference one game to go round up

Following on from my successful mid-season round up (not one comment ) I thought I would continuing ploughing my lone furrow and predict the playoff and relegation winners and losers

Still 7 teams going for 6 playoff spots - who will miss out?
Wolflings, Wild Thangs, Jockstraps and Dumplings all 11-4
This could come down to points difference but with Dumplings having a final game against Deflators I'm predicting that we will run out of steam and just miss out

It looks like we will be saying goodbye to the Alligators and Comanches and I also think that the big points difference for the Wolves will also sink them (regardless of the result against the Cheese). Smoke & Mirrors should survive as I don't think the Llamas can get the result they need.

What a great season it's been

You are correct, great season indeed. Those are some great records that will miss out on the playoffs. If they would have been in the NC, they would be guaranteed playoff contenders. I am sitting at 9-6 right now and might win my division in the NC with a 10-6 record. That will be a first for me! The AC is definitely full of very quality teams!

Although to be honest I've been lucky to be in a division where 2 teams are in full rebuild mode. In my opinion I think the NC is just as good as the AC as the Skunks (my rivals from Thunder 2 last year) are 9-6 and might sneak a playoff place

It might well be that there is a dearth of talent in AC compared wth the NC, where the records reflect a much more competitive league

1st round of playoffs is a rematch of earlier in the season where the Valiant Pinoys put a beat down on the Kokomo Mantis. Hopefully with the game at my place this time, my team can perform to their talent level and take the W in front of their die hard fans. I am sure Valiant Pinoys will have something to say about that, but the fans are rooting for their first playoff win in Thunder 1.1 here in Kokomo!

Seven teams in the AC finished with at least 12 wins.
