Thanks Bigjoe, I just managed to get passed you, today. I seem to have more trouble getting passed Thunder 1 teams in the playoffs than I do against Elite teams in the Supercup!!!

The Valiant Pinoys fairy tale has ended but what a story it was this season! Well done mate!

Congratulations inranger, your Juggernaut players really stop me putting points on the board today! I thought I may be able to steal it after the turnovers in the 4th but your team carried on marching up the field in overtime.

It was a great game that easily could have gone the other way. I consider myself fortunate to have come out on top in this one.
Next season I may not be so fortunate but I'm looking forward to 2 exciting matchups against a very worthy opponent. |

This season got the bowl it deserved! Well played guys and again it shows that with determination and planning you can achieve greatness, both teams getting to Elite for a second time. An achievement that is reserved for only the truly great teams.
Yet where were these teams but 4 seasons ago. Nowhere near the top. Yet they got there through what makes RZA so great: it truly rewards a patient, thoughtful and long term approach. Both teams now also have a top team salary bill and surely retirements will start to wreak havoc sooner rather than later and then they might make room the new great teams to stand up and be counted. All eyes next season will be on these potential new upstarts: Norfolk Dumplings, Rome Centurions, Valiant Pinoys, Kokomo Mantis, Granville Skunks. Good luck in the off season guys and gals and see you next season as a writer rather than a competitor! I am almost emotional now I realise that there are two days left that the Alligators will be a part of 1.1  This league truly is a special place due to the teams in it.
So this is Cheesehead signing out from Thunder 1.1 for while but my spirit will remain here!  |
