Thunder Outsiders - S34 League Weekly - 4th Edition

Welcome back to another edition of the League Weekly! Another week is in the books and we are taking another light hearted look at it from the outside in!

We start with a mini version of...

Interesting Titbits From Around the League

Miss of the week
Deflators' Roman Whitney (K) missed a FG in the 4th quarter in a 3 point loss. He won't want to see that again!

Then it's over to everyone's favorite:

The Quick & Dirty

Thunder 2 review
* Dublin Dragons D showed up today, shame the offense was still stuck in traffic outside the stadium
* The desert says new Bowl favorites are the Vicious Attack Dogs. Stopping their offense still means conceding 21 points!
* Duluth Eskimos are like a good Guiness, slow to develop but tasty once you've given it some time.
* Renegades lack of coaching hires are really starting to hurt them now. I hear LinkedIn has a good offer on now for posting an ad!
* A real tragedy unfolding at Wolves Stadium. Member of RZA since season 1 is in dire straits now and rumours of janos seen leaving the stadium with a suitcase might be more real than first thought. Let's keep him in our prayers folks!
* Same can be said of Herrpetllamas who has been around since season 23. Hopefully he just gutted his squad to save money and start afresh. If you read this Herrpetllamas: there is a way back. You are missed!

Thunder 1 review
* Kalapana Wild Thangs are suddenly hot again! The Big Easy of Thunder on the rise once more!?
* Norfolk Dumplings are traveling along their trajectory to the stop. Watch and learn peeps, watch and learn!
* Jimmy GQ's Jockstraps has been featured a few times now, mostly in jest, but oakboark, come on, enough is enough ok!? We need Jimmy to be Jimmy again!
* Istanbul Whitings @ Deflators featured no TD. Three FG's were enough to win. Suprisingly both teams still missed 3 FG attempts!
* Valiant Pinoys are meanwhile climbing out of the mini-hole they dug for themselves: welcome back.
* And that makes the NC East a fun divsion. Basterds are wounded but still fighting and leading the pack, but the pack is hungry and it's smelling blood.
* We like to state that we still love Basters but as we say in Netherlands: tall trees catch the most wind!
* Inbhir Narann's 2-2 record is flattering I'm afraid. One of the greats struggling this season...

Send in your favourite, weird, epic or whatever plays
Here at Football Outsiders we love to look at plays that stand out. Whether it's a damning FG miss like up top, a last second hail mary or a 4 play stop on the goal line, if you think your team (or opponent for that matter) deserves some attention then please send me the text of the play and we will feature it right here!
So keep this in the back of the mind the next time you are reviewing your games managers!

Well, that's it for this week. We'll see you again in round 5!

Nah.. I'm only here to make some bucks and very slowly train a squad... all I'll say is that if I did a playbook "I would wake up and feel dangerous".

My squad lacks a QB and it's seriously hampering me. I have three development projects on my roster who will be good one day but am in the market for a top prospect as well.

If I can't bring a stud in at QB then honestly I am three years from challenging to get to Elite again. I am not wasting time game planning with the incumbents though
