This was my MOTY . I needed to win this game if I wanted to go to the playoffs.

Great game, Kokomo. Congratulations and good luck in the playoffs

That was a great game for sure. I had a sack as you were leading the ball down the field that prevented you a first down. And the last drive of yours was very promising and if the game would have lasted a minute longer, you would have won. Your team has impressed all of Thunder this season....keep up the great work!

NC Playoff outlook with 3 games to go:

Boonley Bulldozers 12-1 (with 3 games to go, they need 1 win to at least solidify a wildcard spot. 2 wins gets them NC North championship)

Willemstad Bridges 11-2 (already in playoffs as NC West champ)

Kokomo Mantis 11-2 (needs 2 wins to guarantee a playoff spot, and may take winning all 3 to get NC South championship)

RC Frogs 11-2 (being in the NC North, they may need 2 wins to solidify a playoff spot, but could still be NC North champs)

Totoras Patriots 10-3 (could still be NC South champs, but may take all 3 wins to do it. If they win 2 games, they could potentially still tie Amersfoort, but Amersfoort has the tie breaker at this point with the PD, so could miss the playoffs with a 12-4 record)

Amersfoort Alligators 9-4 (Still fighting for the NC North championship, but needs all 3 wins to do that. Will take all 3 wins to make the playoffs as a wild card and a little help.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Spitting Llamas 9-4 (fighting Landrau Athletics for NC East championship, but could potentially get in the playoffs as a wild card by winning 2 games. With 251 PD, does not need a lot of help, just wins to get in)

Landru Athletics 8-5 (fighting Spitting Llamas for NC East championship, but could still get in the playoffs as a wild card with 3 wins and a lot of help. Owns the tie breaker at this point over Totoras, Amersfoort, and RC at this point)

Below the dashed line, at least one of them will get in as a Division champ. The other may get in as a wild card spot, but as you can see, the NC is going to have some great teams in the playoffs.

So...how were the playoffs impacted from today's games:

Spitting Llamas and Landru Athletics both lost their games today, so they are both still in the running for the NC East championship.

Kokomo Mantis got 1 win closer to the NC South championship, but Totoras Patriots are still alive for the NC South championship since Kokomo Mantis has 2 tough games left. With that being said, so does Totoras Patriots.

The race for the wildcard is still wide open.

The race for the NC North got a bit closer as Boonley Bulldozers lost and RC Frogs won. This puts them in a tie with 2 games to go. But don't count out Amersfoort Alligators as they won. They are still 2 games out, but their PD is still within the range to win that division if they tie. Great games remain in this division!

AC playoff outlook with 3 games to go:

Wolflings 12-1 (already in playoffs)
Rome Centurions 12-1 (already in playoffs)
Istanbul Whitings 11-2 (already in playoffs)
Thunder Bolts 10-3
Xu Da 9-4
Kalapana Wild Thangs 8-5
Fredericksburg Comanches 8-5
Duluth Eskimos 7-6
Colonel Mustard Moustache Men 6-7
East Coast Crushers 5-8
Marion Knuckleheads 5-8

A little bit more solidified than the NC, but still some races open. Even teams at 5-8 (Marion and East Coast) are still mathematically in the hunt, but would take a miracle for them to make the playoffs due to their low PD. Colonel Mustard Moustache Men does have a positive PD, but would need a lot of help to make the playoffs. Other than that, the others will be fighting until the last day of the season it seems!

How were the AC playoffs affected by today's games:

Thunder Bolts are now in the playoffs, but the AC South is still wide open as Xu Da won their game. Kalapana Wild Thangs are now eliminated from the AC South race unless something miraculous happens with their PD and Thunder Bolts PD. I don't foresee that happening.

However, Kalapana Wild Thangs are still in the Wild Card hunt for the final playoff spot. Fredericksburg Comanches lost, so they are now tied with Duluth Eskimos as the first teams 1 game out. This race will come down to the final game of the season it seems!

Marion Knuckleheads, East Coast Crushers, and Colonel Mustard Moustache Men have all been mathematically eliminated.

four 12-2 teams for the top 2 spots in NC. Wow... what an overall finish for all seeding purposes.

I couldn't stop your SG4 in the fourth quarter. There were several plays of more than 10 yards in the first down.

I have to change my PB. And be more aggressive in the last minutes.

Thanks for your compliments. I have been rebuilding for several seasons. Now I can hold a roster of over 3 million a week. I have certain expectations about the next season. We will see if I can be competitive!

Games with playoff implications for tomorrow's league games:

Amersfoort Alligators 10-4 vs. Duluth Eskimos 8-6 (This will be a big game for the playoffs. With a loss, either team could be on the outside of the playoffs after this game)

East Coast Crushers 5-9 vs. Xu Da 10-4 (Xu Da needs this win)

Istanbul Whitings 12-2 vs. Wolflings 13-1 (only playoff implication will be potential seeding, but wow...could be a great game!)

RC Frogs 12-2 vs. Kokomo Mantis 12-2 (wow...both teams have been on a hot streak, and both fighting for their respective division championship. With a loss, neither are out, but with a win, someone will guarantee themselves a playoff spot)

Spitting Llamas 9-5 vs. Kalapana Wild Thangs 9-5 (very interesting playoff implications. Spitting Llamas need a win to remain on top of their division, and Kalapana needs the win to stay in the playoffs.)

Totoras Patriots 10-4 vs. Boonley Bulldozers 12-2 (Totoras needs a win to keep the upper hand on the wild card spot, and Boonley is in a heated race with RC for their division championship)

In our Elite games, a big game against Norfolk Dumplings and Basterds will take place as well. In this interdivisional matchup, it could go either way to making sure one team gets out of the relegation spot. Good luck!

Great games all around this week

Some of the above games were really good. Agree with the Totoras and Boonley game! Great game for sure!

Also, the Istanbul and Wolflings game was a very good one as well as it ended in OT! And the Amersfoort vs. Duluth game was also pretty good.

A few other games that did not have playoff implications turned out very good as well. Barossa had a great comeback in the 4th against Colonel Mustard. And last but not least, in a wild 4th quarter, Willemstad scored with 8 seconds left to defeat Vicious.....very wild indeed.

In the Elite league, Deflators eeked out a win against the Basterds. Basterds kicked a FG with 4:26 left to go in the game, and needed a TD to win, but they just could not move the ball on that drive. They did end up getting the ball back, but punted on a 4th and 2 when they were on their opponents 41 yard line with 1:16 to go. Just needed another FG at that point to win the game. I guess that would have been a 58 yard FG, so maybe a bit out of range.

So how are the playoffs shaping up with 1 game to go?

AC already in the playoffs (Rome Centurions, Wolflings, Istanbul Whitings, Thunder Bolts, Xu Da) - listed in record and PD order

Who is still in the running for the final spot? - Kalapana Wild Thangs 10-5 and Fredericksburg Comanches 9-6. (Kalapana plays a bot so they are all but guaranteed the final spot meaning AC is all set except the order).

NC already in the playoffs (Kokomo Mantis, Willemstad Bridges, Boonley Bulldozers, RC Frogs) - listed in record and PD order

NC East Division championship is still up in the air. One team gets in, the other goes home since both Landru Athletics and Spitting Llamas have a 9-6 record. Both play winnable games, and the PD would be in Landru's favor at this point.

Who is still in the running for the final playoff spot? - Amersfoort Alligators 11-4, Totoras Patriots 10-5 (Amersfoort plays RC Frogs who are already in the playoffs, and Totoras plays Inbhir Narann. Neither game will be a guaranteed win, but at this stage, even in a tie, Amersfoort hold the tie breaker by 36. Is it possible that Totoras beats Inbhir Narann by more than 36? Time will tell, but it will also depend on if Amersfoort can win against RC. If RC wins and beats Amersfoort by 14, the PD goes down to 22, and then all craziness begins!)

Good luck in our final game of the regular season!

Wow, do check out our Thunder Division in the Elite league with one game to go. The last games will be interdivisional matchups, and it looks like it is about anyone's game as to who wins that playoff spot there. Good luck there everyone!
